pretty good but not good enough for having progression with no cloud save and a large install footprint being a recipe for me to checkout entirely. not gonna babysit the savefile and im not gonna commit to 100%ing the game anytime soon, so I'll start over in perpetuity leaving this thumbs down until they feel like adding steam cloud support

Un peu nul comme jeu

Played this game on a live stream and my chat loved it! It was amazing to have a nostaligia trip to the side scrolling beat em ups. The upgrade of the battle skills was really well done, the more you use an attack the better it got. I would highly recommend.

The game looks great, the visuals are crisp & sharp. The music is fantastic, as well as, the story board that leads you to the next sequence of events and game play. The problem lies with the game play & the devs not responding to or addressing the games problems. I play with a controller, which it claims to support. Special moves only function when I'm facing left, leaving me exposed on the right. Zero response from the devs. If you've dealt with wonky games/gameplay & are looking for a beat'em up, don't pay full price for this broken would be gem.

I have tried two different controllers with this game and no configuration works properly. Would have liked to play it unfortunately nothing works correctly. Edit: Was actually able to get my Logitech F710 working with this game and I was able to progress a bit on the game, will provide a more thorough review once I have completed the game. For now what I can say with certainty is that this game [b][i]will not work[/i][/b] with the Valve's Steam Controller - so if this is the only controller you have/use [b][i]do not get this game[/i][/b]. So far for the price the game play itself is not bad, but the controller issues certainly bump it down for me, to a neutral rating (but changing my review to recommend for now). So if you would like to play it, just wait for a sale, and make sure to have a controller that actually works with this game.
