Bullet Soul Infinite Burst is a vertically scrolling shooting game crossing old-school gameplay with a bullet hell twist. It adds numerous gameplay enhancements over its predecessor, Bullet Soul, not least of which is Burst Mode. The same aggressive, bullet-cancelling gameplay, now with more destruction, more coins and more tunes.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

not a fan of schmups....
1st: runs perfect on steamdeck! addictive and bullet hell newcomer friendly shmup with great visuals and even better soundeffects! If you aren't one of the few "chosen ones" shmup players, who have reflexes and memorisation with godtier abbilities, you will have a very fun game on your hands. It has various game and trainingmodes but collecting medals in burstmode is best to score high. finally a game where one can reach the end without dzens of continues (although you can). played it on my 360, still fun!
this is a really bad shmup. - Burst Mode: rolled up to True Last Boss on my first play-through b/c i didn't die during my run. Bullets just get cancelled so easy & Bosses' Health drains so fast that their phases change before they even fire bullets lol - Everything moves so fast. like needlessly fast on burst and normal mode (touch slower on normal mode) , but you don't even get a chance to see anything because it zooms on screen and then is dead and it's bullets are cancelled - The bullet patterns on here are atrocious, and they come in massive groups when a boss appears. Honestly, they are not that hard to dodge. What is hard to dodge is the 5% of a time when a boss switches phases and before it is done shaking and visually showing the player it is going to attack, it blows a load at you extremely fast from a forward position of its body. On Normal Mode, this happened a few times, and it was uber cheap. Basically, the shot is unavoidable laser unless you were just randomly strafing during a boss's phase change. - Again boss bullet patterns are ugly, and they are layered on top of each other, some swirling, some snaking, there;s triangular blobs that get bigger, then maybe rows to dodge, plus random bullet spray, and it is all going on at once, "like what is going on here dude?," not to mention some bullets are puke green and pastel yellow and pink. It's like getting shot by the Easter Bunny. - Occasionally, bad enemy placement. Like I said enemies whiz in without warning, so there are some areas where enemies whiz in and station themselves in the player's safe zone near the bottom of the screen. Kills you or knocks down HP. No warning. - this game should have been slowed down and created more difficulty by making the bullet cancellation less OP, and using legit bullet patterns. Another thing with messy bullet patterns is that it makes them boring because you end up with huge gaps that make it so easy. The developer tried to compensate this lack of difficulty by speeding up the game but the error is just so blatant. - music is uber low quality for the ending , sounds like a mic was put up to a speaker to record the song. like a bad attempt at pirating a song off the radio to put into ur game lmao -endings are just a screenshot? the game crashes the window during credits, and then pops up a new window to show the ending screenshot. like da heck is going on there - weird screen resolution that you have to manually stretch out, otherwise, you are playing in a tiny box, no tate mode, 720p max Overall, with the main ship presented, it is an easy to 1CC, fast-paced mess lacking challenge that doesn't allow you to take in the scenery

BULLET SOUL INFINITE BURST, developed by MAGES. Inc. and Tachyon Inc. and published by MAGES. Inc., is a shoot ’em up that leans confidently into the traditions of arcade design while making subtle adjustments to keep the experience engaging and accessible. It does not try to reinvent the genre or introduce radically new ideas, but instead focuses on refining the essentials that define vertical shooters. The result is a game that feels immediate and energetic, offering players a constant stream of action without unnecessary complexity or delay. At its core, the gameplay is built around navigating dense waves of enemies and projectiles while maintaining a balance between offense and survival. One of the most notable aspects is how it encourages aggressive play. Instead of purely dodging incoming fire, players are rewarded for taking initiative and eliminating threats quickly, often clearing large portions of the screen by destroying key enemies. This approach creates a more active rhythm, where positioning and timing are just as important as reflexes. The controls are responsive, and the mechanics are easy to understand, making it approachable for newcomers while still leaving room for skill development. The game’s structure is expanded through multiple modes that offer different ways to engage with its systems. Standard play provides a straightforward progression through stages, while additional modes introduce variations that change the pace and focus. Some emphasize time-based challenges, pushing players to achieve the highest score within strict limits, while others alter the way scoring and combat function, encouraging different strategies. These variations help extend the game’s longevity, as each mode highlights a different aspect of the core mechanics and keeps the experience from feeling repetitive. Scoring plays a central role in maintaining long-term interest. Success is not measured solely by completing stages, but by how efficiently and aggressively players perform. Staying close to enemy formations, chaining actions together, and maintaining momentum all contribute to higher scores. This system creates a constant incentive to improve, as even small adjustments in playstyle can lead to better results. Over time, players are encouraged to refine their approach, learning enemy patterns and optimizing their movements to maximize efficiency. Visually, the game presents a bright and energetic style that complements its fast-paced gameplay. The screen is often filled with colorful effects, projectiles, and explosions, creating a sense of intensity that matches the action. While the graphics are not particularly advanced, they are clear enough to keep the gameplay readable, which is essential for a shooter of this type. The soundtrack reinforces the experience with energetic tracks that maintain a consistent sense of momentum, helping to sustain the arcade-like atmosphere. Despite its strengths, the game does have some limitations. Its reliance on established mechanics means that it may feel familiar to players who are already experienced with the genre. The relatively small number of stages and the short length of individual runs can make the overall experience feel limited in scope, even with the additional modes. There are also moments where the screen becomes crowded, which can affect visibility and make it harder to react precisely. These issues do not detract significantly from the experience, but they are noticeable over extended play sessions. Ultimately, BULLET SOUL INFINITE BURST succeeds by focusing on what makes shoot ’em ups enjoyable in the first place. It delivers fast, engaging gameplay that is easy to pick up but offers enough depth to keep players coming back. Its design encourages both experimentation and mastery, making it appealing to a wide range of players within the genre. In the end, it stands as a polished and enjoyable example of a traditional vertical shooter, offering a satisfying balance between accessibility and challenge. While it does not push the genre in new directions, it refines its core elements in a way that feels consistent and rewarding. Rating: 7/10
