A truly unique, if somewhat unsettling, RPG experience. Going into it as blind as possible is best.
In it you start in a MS/DOS style environment where you start the Buddy Simulator program and play some games with it. You quickly run out of games to play so Buddy makes more and more complex games for you, starting from simple guess the number stuff to a full RPG. The game has a bit of a creepypasta vibe to it with glitches and mysterious files from the games creator being found within the game. Overall it's a pretty interesting game, bogged down by the latter half's slow and tedious combat. For achievement hunters it can be a bit of a slog as you'd need to play through the main brunt of the game at least 3 times to get all the endings + one shorter run for the last one. It doesn't help that the game plays out the exact same on all 4 paths with the only difference being the ending segment. If the combat was better during the later half or you could go through different types of games for each of the endings, like a platformer or a visual novel or FPS game would help a lot with the repetition.
