About
Once upon a time, the world was saved by the Brigandine.
This arcane armor, forged by the great sorcerer Lunadea, brought an end to the ambitions of the Abyssloa Empire.
200 years have since passed, and the continent’s current greatest superpower, the Kingdom of Solginat, has grown into a disquieting presence. In response, the rulers of various nations, spearheaded by the queen of Mysteine—a realm that carries on Lunadea’s will—gather together to issue a formal denunciation…

Reviews
A direct downgrade from Runeseria in every way.
Longtime fan of Legend of Forsena and Grand Edition, didn't care for Runeseria as it didn't really offer anything that was more fun than the ogs. this new game shakes up the mechanics quite a bit and is interesting to me to play, im still not a big fan of the visuals but I love the bold new direction. I really don't understand what the negetive reviews are about but i suspect they are from people who enjoyed Runeseria which i did not.

My personal review would be 6 out of ten. Yes, things are more streamlined and simplified. For example diversity in classes for generals and fewer monsters but, The strategic combat is still challenging and flexible. The monsters have more defined abilities and specialty than previous versions where they where more a pile of stats and elemental traits with the occasional special attack. Most of these reviews don't go into mission mode, which is picking a kingdom and trying to conquer the continent. The fact that the world is smaller does suck but, I get it. I've almost finished my first story playthrough and it's 30 hours in lol. A bigger map would take so much longer lol. So personally, I enjoy it and the series as a whole. I don't suggest it for anyone that's not a series fan or tactical game junkie like me.
WHY ENEMY HAVE LEVELING SO FAST WITH OUT FIGHTING? when someone kingdom fall then all other country enemy have leveling UP but our leader and monster do not do the same? what logic is this?
I dont know what abomination is this but this is not Brigandine this is a generic crap attempt to milk Brigandine fans shame on you. Theres no generic character in the real deal this is beyond lazy i hope they release a proper 3rd Game of the title.
The start was rough for me (Purifanoe story mode pits your 3 buff-focused leaders against 3 very aggresive enemy leaders in an "ambush" map where only 3 of your units are neutral to most of the enemies, and one of them is elementally superior with the other 8 or so all being elementally weak), but after making it past that bump I've had decent fun with the game. The factions themselves are technically smaller (technically because in Runersia even though the factions were numerically larger, you had a core of only 3-5 relevant units regardless) and there's less interactions between the characters compared to Runersia, but I think the game itself is good. I can see how some may have issues with the reduced combat banter. I feel like people are misinterpreting the generic soldiers, they're meant to be used for gathering and questing, replacing the need to send our named characters to do those tasks! After the different factions start getting destroyed by others (or yourself) their units become recruitable, plus there's some free mercenaries as well so it's not like you're only playing with generics for hours, so I just wanted this review to clear some doubts and misconceptions about this that I've seen often repeated in other reviews. If anything, I think mission mode requires an overhaul with different possible objectives for each faction, or there needs to be a proper free-for-all scenario added where it's just everyone against everyone, some of these mission mode objectives are just way too basic, boring or constraining, the idea should be to have fun playing with the different characters, but some of these challenges are the opposite thereof.
