Very fun, but there are some extreme difficulty spikes that had me scratching my head. You definitely have to grind the scavenge zones for what you need. It needs a lot more content and some polish, but the bones are good.
[Neutral review] It has the bones, but it is not ready yet at all. I'll keep it positive for now because it is fun, but there is so many bizarre choices and its very unfinished. I'll keep it positive because i think they'll fix the problems and it will eventually become a good game, but honestly just play Brigador instead for now.

Game is cool but right now you should just play the demo and wait for the game to update. Devs kinda wet the bed on this one, actual release has less content than the demo. Nothing is more disappointing than excitedly getting into the game again after work and realizing that I have an additional 30 minutes of playtime before it's just, a wall, because that's all the content left. All the cool vehicles from the demo are just entirely missing? There's an entire merchant who sells you vehicle components and you can't make anything with them. It's truly the early access of all time.
Should be better than DEMO, BUT It doesn't.
Game breaking bugs throughout, confusing plot, poor gunplay. When I went to the official discord for help, the only advice the Devs could give me was to skip the broken levels with Console Commands.
I love the ♥♥♥♥ out of Brigador. Both the game, and the world. I was super hyped to see that Brigador Killers was going to actually be a thing and wasn't going to be in development hell forever. Unfortunately, if this is the direction the devs at Stellar Jockeys want to take the sequel, I think it may be a miss for me. I'm fine with the shift to infantry combat in Killers. In fact, it's arguably the biggest draw for me apart from the MaVS OST and increased visual fidelity and detail in the spritework on display. The act of running around shooting dudes is fun, but only for a little while. Ammo is very scarce, and most if not all the guns available off rip in the early game are underpowered peashooters (.22 cal rifles and wildly innaccurate handguns) so most runs usually burn my ammo supply before the mission is over. The fact you LOSE your entire loadout if you die during a mission is a huge bummer too. I understand that rearming oneself isn't particularly difficult in the early game, but it's a tedious timesink and honestly just a baffling dev decision. A huge pull for Brigador to me was being able to go into a run with my pilot, mech, and weapon choice and see if I was able to hack it through the mission. If I die during a run, oh well, I can restart and try again or I can go back to the menu and change my loadout. I didn't LOSE my Touro or access to Hugh Armbruster or my Zeus because I got got by some spacer prick in an exploding ping pong ball. In Brigador Killers you lose EVERYTHING you had on you during a mission. These kinds of mechanics only work in multiplayer extraction games (like Tarkov or ARC Raiders or Marathon etc etc) where they are staples of the genre, or in roguelikes where every run is seeded totally differently and player power scales the further you get into THAT run. Brigador Killers presents itself like an infantry shootemup in the trailers but in actual gameplay none of that is to be found. Why even bother with high tier loot if it's just going to sit in my armory back at base because I'm to afraid of the frustration and time wasting I'll go through if I bring it on a mission and get killed by some douche with a gogogadget 1911? I highly recommend that the devs course correct HARD with the obtuse death penalties pushed onto the player at the current moment and try to bring back some of the fun and charm that Brigador had. Because at the end of the day I paid for this on Itch back in like 2024 expecting Brigador's arcadey "pick up and have a grand old time" charm but on foot and I'm really not feeling it right now in 2026. I don't want Brigador 2 with a fancy new logo, but I also don't want isometric singleplayer Tarkov. TLDR, putting my nuts in a vice grip isn't fun and Brigador Killers is basically that plus a really good OST.
you would be amazed at how many complainants apparently can't understand what "early access" means. love me insurgency, love me guerilla warfare, simple as.
It's really hard for me to recommend jumping into early access for this game. The demo had much more options in terms of building up an arsenal. While I do like that it's a bit harder to accrue some of the more powerful weapons and vehicles, there is also a lot missing as well. A lot of vehicle blueprint recipes present in the demo are absent here. I figured that if I disassembled a rad ball tread bike I found I would be able to reassemble it later, which I couldn't because there doesn't seem to be a way to gain new blueprints at the moment. So if you acquire a vehicle and disassemble it, if the crafting schematic isn't already present you will have only the components of your newfound claim. Even at the current end game of the EA campaign, you CAN find some of the larger weapons that can be mounted on vehicles, but none of the vehicles that you can obtain or craft can even fit them, except for maybe if you make the upgunned cannon sprat. Not recommending this until early access gets another update that makes it meatier than it's demo.
