As someone with only a vague familiarity with the original brigador game, I've been really enjoying this, and I also very much enjoyed the demo. The fact that there's less to do in this than in the demo is pretty disappointing, especially when what I'm up to is explicitly non-diegetic, but with how fast they seem to be able to throw down new levels I would hope that they could bring back some of those or otherwise give us some more stuff to do. One of the things that turned me off from the original brigador was how overwhelming it was all the time, and I like how much this game makes me scrape around with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stuff. The AI is definitely better than it was in the demo: I can actually sneak up on people now, and while individual engagements are easier, the AI is more dynamic in fleeing, getting help, and rotating in ways that are better at putting me in a bad position, while also rewarding critical thinking. Collision damage is baffling, though. I run into some concrete brick with an APC doing just over the non-shift speed limit and it explodes and kills me, after spending 20 minutes in a level and neither dealing nor taking collision damage; it would be easier for me to understand what speeds are dangerous if I took damage from collisions more often. I don't want this game to be marred by this poor early reception, because it is cool and fun and all the strange regressions from the demo are super fixable, which would be excellent with all the interesting stuff that *was* added in this version

Despite being very undercooked, I had fun playing this. And I did play demo too for 9.1 hours. Soundtrack is a banger. The only real complaint I have about release is that difficulty was VERY greatly dumbed down. There's way too few enemies on maps now. Cinderblock exosuit enemies went from being a fast-moving menace to a complete joke that can be quickly staggered with a trashy handgun. There's now no incentive to take down APC to get its frame because it's no longer a guaranteed drop and you can get it faster by loading maps that spawn a destroyed one that might have it.
Fun game, not too much to do after 11-12 hours but of course its early access. Gameplay is moderately difficult but rewarding. After getting a few vehicles and upgrading them it gets easy. Glad I bought it, would love to see where the game goes development wise
Finished the content avalible had a fn blast with it !!! Its Seriously the game i have been waiting for for Fn years and some can't wait for more especially the Mechs :) But things that would be cool imo are : A difficulty option on death to keep stuff and or loose it When in a Vehicle can see player avatar inventory so can heal or swap stuff. Edit: Soz if the vehicle is in the Blueprint list it should be avalible to get !!! Luv it
Look. I played the demo, And I loved it, and I honestly love the release of this game into EA, but there are some things missing from this game that I thought they would have added to the game prior to it launching, and the demo was just an old build. Some icons for things like boxes, cars, inventory items are literally just JPEG MS paint drawings that look like a child did them back in 1995. It pulls me right out of the game. I think I will really love this game once they fix some of the QOL and overall game mechanics. I'll 100% be back, and I do recommend this game regardless, It has a great gameplay loop, potential for big things and I hope they invest some time into this title.
It's about everything I thought it'd be. It's still early access so the content is a bit bare bones and rough around the edges, but that's to be expected from an early launch like this and Stellar Jockeys have a fantastic foundation to build off of. It seems like they're super receptive to feedback as well going by the most recent patch notes. Where as in the first Brigador is a war crime simulator, the second is a terrorism simulator with a lot more focus on ground pounding infantry combat than in giant mechs and tanks (If you read this PLEASE add the Leviathan and Treehouse. I don't care if I get my ♥♥♥♥ stomped in every time I see one, they're just too cool to leave in the first one.) It's definitely a change of pace but one that I really like, as it allows for much more tactical combat than you'd think. You can also steal almost every variety of vehicle you can find and upgrade them with additional armor plating, weapon mounts and the like which is pretty cool. Something else to mention as well is that if you die in a mission you lose everything you carry, so be careful. Only downside is the inventory management kinda sucks but I'm sure that'll get ironed out. To add to this sundae, the soundtrack is done by Makeup And Vanity Set, and it is incredible. Not many other games have a soundtrack that goes as hard as both Brigador games. The story is pretty straightforward as well; Mar Nosso bears witness. The story shifts from morally dubious mercenary work in the first Brigador to a group of Solo Nobreans who are hellbent on getting revenge for what happened. They do mention some things that happened in the novels which I think is pretty cool but if you're new it may throw you for a loop. I dig it personally. All in all I've enjoyed my time with Brigador Killers quite a lot, it was well worth the wait.

Starting from nothing and building up scratches the itch. Although, sometimes I get laid out in 0.5 seconds by a mob and lose everything I took that run. Infuriating. The secret is to get garage base, and run "naked" into Chop Shop until garbage truck spawns in the middle of the map (you can hit ESC and see if it's there. Huge green truck, usually spawns 2). Run and jump in it, then use it to grab crates around the map, leave, salvage. Repeat. You can even get APC chassis from doing that, and get yourself a nice ride fairly easily. Oh, also you can carry a tuktuk or motorcycle in one of the slots on the garbage truck. More salvage!
Finally the long awaited sequel, well for me at least. I can now at last live out my dreams of being a space colony kleptomaniac hobo, stealing everything that isnt welded down. Great music, the vibes are peak. 11/10 want a Betka in real life to pick up groceries.
