[Titan Lore]
There are multiple types of Titans in the world. The most well known are the Turtle Titan, the Serpent Titan, and the Crab Titan.
The Turtle Titan is difficult to damage and has a deadly range attacked. It roams the ocean causes massive waves that wash over islands and carry away anything in their path.
The Serpent Titan likes to roam near storms and causes large typhoons which suck anything up into the air. Since it often swims below water, it can be difficult to attack.
Little is known about the Crab Titan other than its not afraid to walk up onto dry land to attack humans and buildings directly. How do you even stop something the size of an island with 8 legs and made of ancient stone?
[The ocean sim]
The water in Breakwaters isn't just there to make waves. You can directly interact with it by crafting Refined Crystal items and building stone walls. Delve into its depths to find rare resources, build a wall to protect your home, or create a holding tank of water to supply your water pumps and power your contraptions.
There is over 360 sq kilometers of simulated ocean to explore, filled with unique places, strange creatures, and quirky people to meet.

Fun game, great concept, slow dev time and appears to be abandoned now sadly.
Beautiful @SoaringPixelsGames, this game is an absolute gem its appealing to the eye, its got a good building system, the enemies are actually difficult to fight if your not prepared, if you go in with just some canon balls expect to get wiped clean out Lol the story is lacking in my opinion but that's probably because i was so caught up in exploring and building....and The water physics.... absolutely mind blowing things you can do with the water in this game its fun to mess around with its even better that you can just create a hole in the water and catch fish that way LOL. i never write reviews but im patiently waiting for a major update on the game, already finished the story and killed the serpent and it was a blast one of the best 13 hours ive played on a game for sure. Again @SoaringPixelsGames what a piece of art you got here BEAUTIFUL!!

Early access with no significant updates for over a year (and no updates at all for over half a year). So it seems abandoned, I'd avoid unless things change.
I doubt this game ever gets finished. If it does, the developer will probably do another small update and stamp the 1.0 flag on it.
The general mechanics behind the game are a very cool concept, but the controls have and apparently always will be abysmal, The devs need to really spend about a year making the game controls feel impactful. That is the first thing that has continued to turn me away from this game every time i try to pick it up again. Last time I playes this game, the food system needed some work.. i am going to give this another go and edit my review once I get some more time on it.
Labor of love by small team of indie devs, has charm and detail you won't find in big corpo titles.
This game has the worst performance capabilities of every game I've ever played. After 4 years of being in early access, it still runs like a garbagefire? The developers are worthless. Do not waste your money on this pile of crap.
i have to say this is by far a great builder and explorer, loving it so far a few little glitches and optimisations needed but not bad for a 4 + year old game.... still dev could contact us for feedback and fix it.. might sell more.
So first off this game is really fun and despite the rough patches that I'll get to in a moment I'm still liking it. The water mechanics are super cool and really bring the ocean to life. Some of the islands even seem to look like different places through out the day depending on what the tide is doing. Sailing on a boat and exploring is also a really fun time. The titans are crazy big and super scary. I think they have even optimised it pretty well as my specs aren't crazy and I'm still bale able to play on the highest setting with no lag. With all that said there are a few warning I want to issue: 1) I have had my backpack un-equip and despawn instantly. Still not sure if I accidentally dropped it but it wasn't on the ground so I believe it was a glitch. This lead me to not trust my player inventory and so I started storing my stuff in chests which leads me to my next issue. 2) Don't build anywhere near existing structures. I killed a pirate on Heckinger island and built some work tables and chests in his half hut structure. It never gave me any problems and I travelled to and from the island several times and it was always still there. I had built up a pretty good collection of items until I was ready to fight the first titan. After I beat the titan I travelled back to find that the pirate respawned and all my tables and storage were gone. Again I'm not totally sure it was because of building there but I wouldn't recommend risking it. I'd recommend keeping your most valuable stuff in the boats as that is the only thing that has not lost me items so far. Again despite all this I still really love this game and it's fun enough that I still want to continue after all these setbacks. That said it would truly be a 10/10 for me if the game respected your items a bit more. I'm going to try and actually make a structure on a safe island and store my stuff there and hopefully it won't happen again but I'm afraid that 3 strikes will be it for me (at least for a while). Enjoy the game and I hope none of this happens to you!
Desde el 2022 en desarrollo y no se ha añadido apenas contenido (tiene muy poco contenido el juego actualmente), solo hay pequeños parches de arreglos de bugs. Un desarrollador con grandes expectativas pero sin resultados a la vista.
