Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Nice addition to the Boulderdash collection :)
Boulder Dash 40th Anniversary: 40 Years of Pure, Unadulterated Fun! If you want to understand the roots of gaming while playing a title that feels incredibly fresh, this is it. Boulder Dash 40th Anniversary isn’t just a remaster; it’s the ultimate love letter to Rockford and the millions of players who grew up dodging falling rocks and hunting for diamonds. Insane Amount of Content: With over 320 levels, including 80 remastered classics and 240 brand-new caves, the value here is unbeatable. You can literally play through the entire history of the franchise in one package. Visual Versatility: I love that you can swap between modern HD graphics and authentic 8-bit styles (C64, ZX Spectrum, etc.). It’s the perfect way to satisfy both nostalgia and modern tastes. Legendary New Content: The inclusion of the "Liepa World"—20 mind-bending levels from original creator Peter Liepa—is a masterstroke. It’s challenging, clever, and reminds you why this game became a legend. Infinite Replayability: The level editor is intuitive and powerful. Being able to build your own deathtraps and play community creations means you’ll never truly "finish" the game. The Huelsbeck Touch: The soundtrack by Chris Huelsbeck is the cherry on top. It perfectly captures that high-energy arcade vibe that keeps you pushing for "just one more level." My verdict: 10/10. Whether you're a retro vet or a newcomer, this is a masterclass in puzzle design. It’s the perfect game for a series because the "near-misses" and clever solutions make for fantastic viewing! A Heartfelt Thanks to BBG Entertainment To the Team at BBG Entertainment: A huge thank you for allowing me the opportunity to do a first impressions review of Boulder Dash 40th Anniversary! You’ve done an incredible job of preserving the soul of the 1984 original while modernizing the experience for a 2026 audience. The inclusion of the classic visual modes and the contributions from legends like Peter Liepa and Chris Huelsbeck make this feel like a true celebration of gaming history. I’m so excited to start this series and show my audience why Boulder Dash is just as addictive and brilliant today as it was 40 years ago. Thank you for the trust and for keeping this icon alive!
BEST!
Boulder Dash III was my first ever computer game. I was loading it from a cassette tape connected to my ZX Spectrum. Many thanks to the developers for allowing me to relive those memories and enjoy playing this timeless classic. BDI, BDII, BDIII games are gold. However the part with modern interpretation lacks that atmosphere, that sound, that visual style, it's more like a telephone arcade. But it does not decrease the value of this release.
I love the classic Boulder Dash series and also its successors. Glad that the franchise still exists. There are plenty of new levels and some are really challenging. This new version also has an editor and the ability to play community levels. Great! It's nice that this time also all classic levels are included. I bought the game also on Switch, where I play most of the time. The editor could be improved, tough.
