Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Stylistically unique and father of the looter shooter genre. Setting some time aside with a friend to run through any one of these games is a good time. Sure, you might not be in the mood for the humor every day but they're light hearted games designed to be played in good faith and in good company. Better with friends, a bit hard to play and creepy alone in the year 2026. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 9/10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
UKR
ПО DLC: Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution Найкраще DLC, яке ми проходили першим. Це DLC краще за основний сюжет. Багато гумору, відсилок, жартів. По назві можна зрозуміти що це про революцію роботів. Тому проходити його варто 100 %. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC. The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned DLC 6.3/10
ENG
My friend and I completed the game, and here’s what I can say about it. At first I wasn’t impressed with the gameplay, and especially the graphics, but over time I got used to it and it became more or less fine. Still, I didn’t get the emotions from this game that I could have gotten. I’ll say it in advance: the game is very specific and not everyone will enjoy it. I would never have played through this game on my own. I didn’t really like the story, and the final boss is complete garbage. I understand the game is old, but the enemy hitboxes are ridiculously designed — sometimes you shoot directly at the body and still don’t hit the enemy. There is a lot of long running between locations and within the same location back and forth, which takes a lot of time. The locations themselves are often very empty. Many quests are repetitive. Positive aspects — there is a really large variety of weapons, some side quests are decent, and there is a kind of unique humor. ABOUT DLC: Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution The best DLC we played, and we played it first. This DLC is better than the main story. There are a lot of jokes, references, and humor. From the name you can already tell that it’s about a robot revolution. So it’s definitely worth playing. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx Also a very good DLC. It’s quite long and also better and more interesting than the main story. There’s humor, a decent plot, although there is still a lot of running around. I also recommend playing it. Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot I don’t recommend this DLC to anyone, ever. It’s a complete waste of time. You fight in an arena against waves of very repetitive mobs and get basically nothing for it. There’s no real story. And to complete it you need to spend up to 10 hours. We finished about half of it, got mentally burned out, and dropped the DLC. The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned Overall this DLC is average. We reached it when we were already overleveled, so we finished it very easily — mobs and bosses were getting one-shotted. Because of that I recommend playing this DLC as early as possible so you won’t be overleveled. The story is okay, there is some humor, so it’s not worth skipping. (I described the DLC in the order we played them) Overall, except for Moxxi, the DLCs are better than the main game. 6.3/10
Why is it local coop on console and not PC Also, why did they steal so much of their artistic design from other sources? And face no repercussions? Are they stupid?
Probably my biggest guilty pleasure of all times, playing which made me compromise with my values, because 2K EULA and their methods are horrible, unfair and greedy. The game itself is one of the earliest looter shooters, and as the game that popularized the genre it must be good enough to hook people. But it has a lot of flaws as the pioneer of genre and typical diabloid stuff, that is VERY dependent on do you like the genre and grind or not. The game features 4 classes, where each has 1 (ONE) unique active ability and skill trees of passives that modify that ability or give you basic passive bonuses or work on enemy kill. Plus they have some weapon proficiency (you can use everything, but certain classes are more proficient in certain weapon types), which differentiates them too. Posiitives: + cell shading graphics. It makes the game to age less, as it continues to look stylish + dark humor and fun NPCs (like from start, TK Baha, Dr Zed, Marcus, Tannis + gunplay is good, meety shotgun shots, smg and machinegun spreads, mighty revolvers and Jakobs snipers feel good (RPGs at the same time feel awful if you are not Brick speced in blasting) and also grenade mods make them VERY different (from making them claster, claster + elemental types, jumping before the exposion, more bouncy, claster that falls from the sky (ATL), and even vampiric ones. + elemental effects of weapons create interesting counterplay possibilities + nice music and feeling of wasteland + respec for a cheap price to experiment with builds and not to accidentally ruin a playthrough with weak build + legendary weapons feel as they are - rare, strong and impactful Negatives: - repetitiveness - from one point of perspective its a classic diabloid - so the gameplay circle is - to kill enemies to get more powerfull to kill more enemies (or stronger enemies), but I cant say if its fun enough (especially for solo play). - Repetitiveness. Yes, this is listed twice on purpose. If the game can make me kill the same boss three times in one playthrough, I can complain about repetition twice. And the DLCs somehow make it even worse. And really in DLCs the game make you do even more boring stuff (braaaains quest in zombie DLC, one particular boss in zombie DLC, MANY bosses in roborevolution DLC, ARENA DLC IN PARTICULAR - its freaking boring as hell and notorious for its longevity). - balance of skills and not clear explanations. Some skills work differently than its in theirs description. example - https://steamcommunity.com/app/8980/discussions/0/561409060965002213/ - difficulty changes (can be changed using DifficultyChanger Mod, to emulate amount of players) are flat and simple hp and damage buffs, and a rate of stronger enemies appearance - final boss is the A S S bullet sponge In total - I enjoyed this game A LOT (played it on release with all 4 characters 2 playtrhoughs each, locally, before steam. Didnt want to play here because of the 2K EULA, but compromised my principles and signed that s h i th. It still feels good after all those years, but at the same time its just a grindy timekiller to turn off brain and kill some psychos/get some loot. Dopamine of looting felt good for some time, but this time Lilith was enough for me. Playing the game in team with friends makes it a bit more interesting (because some enemies are really strong from front, and flanking makes them much easier, but it also falls short after some time. This game feels like cigarettes for a smoker - bad habit that I will not recommend it to others (especially considering this EULA). P.S. never played other borderlands games, so maybe other games might receive some improvements. (my hopes and bets are on B2 mostly).

LOVE LOVE love this game. The story is fun to play, side quests are also quite nice and it's good game for relaxation in the evening, or for playing with friends. All characters are cool and I especially loved playing as Mordecai, who's a sniper, but his special skill is quite.. useless. But I had fun relaying mostly on my sniping a using Bloodwing only as a last minute help. If you, of course, want to play as a character with amazing special skill, i recommend choosing Roland, who has a turret. I definitely recommend this game!!

Can not believe I 100% the game, it was tough, seeing that it's the OG Borderlands game, and the second one, is my favourite of all, I could see all the flaws that this one had, but it's not bad, it has more of the 2009 feeling, I will say it's more brown coloured, more plain and not as colourful or bright as the other games. Besides that, the gameplay is like any other Borderlands game, it's all the same and the special abilities of characters are dope af. It was a fun game to play, sadly taking quests do not initiate dialogue about said quests, so thats a bit sad, kinda forcing me to read the description of the quest. Achievement-wise it was a pain in the ass. Moxxi's Underdome can go straight to hell and below. Zombie Island of Dr. Ned - I did enjoy (Overall I like zombies) it was just annoying that you need to walk ALOT. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx - Instead of the zombie one where you need to walk alot in this one you need to drive alot, it was boring driving all across the map to go to a zone where I need to drive all across the map again. Claptrap's New Robot Revolution - Was alright, it was pretty cool and funny, made it feel like the writers got freedom, since the humour kinda matches the 2nd game. But the collectables were a pain and all rely on luck. Overall, the game was great, if not including the DLC i'd give it a 9/10 with the DLC it would be a solid 7. Still had fun especially playing with a friend.
