Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Borderlands GOTY is a brilliantly chaotic trip to Pandora: weird bandits, ridiculous amounts of guns, and Claptrap testing your sanity on a regular basis. The humor hits, the action pop , and going for 100% completion took me 75 hours. Totally worth it. Loot is love, loot is life!
This is the premium game for premium gamers randy. You mistakenly called borderlands 4 the premium game.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Spyware - Selling your info on to whoever, Legal bullying. I've bought all the borderlands games with all the DLC's I'm now blocked from playing all of these games because I won't agree to their terms. I will not buy Borderlands 4 or any other games they produce in the future. I recommend you do the same - boycott this company they don't deserve our support.
2 forms of anti-pirate software being mandatory and forced upon consumers, is beyond absurd and should be illegal. Do not buy any Gearbox games.
Spyware now sadly. uninstalled.
Playing this instead of the GOTY Enhanced, I see what the difference was. This is the superior experience compared to the rerelease. There is no gray-ish brown-ish filter that makes everything look bad, it doesn't have a debilitating memory leak issue and also runs a lot better, they didn't gut a lot of the iconic hybrids like the Ajax Ogre out of the game, and they didn't screw with the general balance of the game. The story is still the same, so fairly basic and without the amount of care and humor you'd expect out of later games, but it is much more playable and enjoyable overall. The only real upside Enhanced has over the OG is the FOV slider and the minimap. Play this instead of the rerelease, if you can. It's going to be much better.
I prefer Borderlands 1 to Borderlands 2. Sure, the environments could've been less repetitive while still keeping a badlands look, and there could've been a bit more active plot for extra engagement (without falling into quirky millenial mush of more recent entries), but the vibe of the game feels better, it's properly desolate and hostile with appropriate dashes of dark humor. There's less junk in the weapons you find, they feel more balanced in that regard, and I find weapons feel better to use, they look less stupid overall too, and the enemies generally feel less bullet sponge-y. The cripplingly low FOV can thankfully be fixed by setting up an hotkey to change FOV in the config, the only annoying part was the online connection being a bit rough and laggy, from experience. I tried Enhanced and it was about as laggy unfortunately. Eridian weapons were a cool idea too, I just wish they were less bad and got improved instead of being straight up cut from later games.
Borderlands is an awesome game but the latest update added spyware, so do NOT buy/install it
