Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 5.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I wanted to link the original review that helped me with thi but I could not find it too many users with the same name. (shout out the Talon) I am going to type precisely as he did from here on out : " Right click Borderlands GOTY Enhanced (in Steam Library) >Manage>Browse Local Files> WillowGame> Movies For DLC, you do the same path except instead of the movies folder you go to : DLC> Shared > DLC (number here) In each of these folders (Movies and DLC#), you delete anything with the word loading. From here on out you'll see black screens where load screens are supposed to be. Be patient don't panic< the game will load the area. If anything goes awry then just go into the games properties menu (which is accessed by right clicking the game in your Steam library and clickinh properties) and validating your files. Steam will give you a fresh set of the missing files." Apologies for any capitals I missed, I typed this from a screenshot from my phone. This worked for me and 100% shoutout again to the person who posted this. I just wanted to repost to help anyone else who has memory leaks. As far as the game, come on its the original Borderlands it rules.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I've never played any games in the Borderlands series before, so this is my first one. I gotta say, it's pretty fun even though the game is super old. But it didn't feel so dated that it's unplayable. Sure, a bunch of the mechanics are totally outdated—super tedious and fussy, and everything is just so simple: shoot enemies for XP to level up skills, get better stat drops, and repeat until the end of the game. The gunplay is super basic, movement is slow and clunky, and the story is practically non-existent, totally uninteresting. But somehow, it's surprisingly fun and addicting. It's a bit boring at first, but after a while, once you get weapons with good stats and can blow enemies to pieces in just a few shots, it feels really satisfying. It's super casual—you can just play it while listening to a podcast without having to think too much. But once I beat the main story, I'm ready to move on to other games or jump straight to Borderlands 2, because honestly, given how old it is, that's pretty much all it has to offer. Oh, and another thing, the game has this super annoying performance issue: after playing for about 30 minutes, it starts having a memory leak, causing micro-stutters that ruin the fun. The only fix is to restart the game, which is so tedious. And the gameplay issue that really boiled my blood was how enemies can wall-hack the entire time and have insane aimbots. Sometimes if there's just a 3-level gap, it stops being fun at all—you peek out for a single second and three enemies are already ready to spam rocket launchers at you, with laser sights glued to your head the whole time. Plus, a lot of the time when you're trading shots with an enemy who's locked onto you, getting hit makes your screen shake like crazy, which is super annoying, throws off your aim, and leaves you almost zero chance to shoot back. Overall, that's pretty much it. It's a good game despite its age, but you definitely don't need to go out of your way to play it. It's great for a lazy day off just to clear your backlog. As for me, I played it because I'm interested in the Borderlands universe, and I got hooked on the Looter Shooter mechanics during the Borderlands 4 free-play period, so I figured I might as well play through all the previous entries beforehand.
To fix the memory leak, you have to delete the game's image files it uses for the area load screens. You do this via: right click Borderlands GOTY Enhanced (in Steam Library) > Manage > Browse Local Files > WillowGame > Movies For DLC, you do the same path except instead of the Movies folder, you go to: DLC > Shared > DLC(number here) In each of these folders (Movies and DLC#), you delete anything with the word 'loading'. From here on out, you'll see black screens where load screens are supposed to be. Be patient, don't panic, the game will load the area. If anything goes awry then just go into the game's properties menu (which is accessed by right clicking the game in your Steam Library and clicking 'properties') and validating your files. Steam will give you a fresh set of the missing files.
Pure maniac fun
Good game
Rough on the edges, but is a good game, worth it if on a promotion or with the bundle with the other games aswell.
This game starts out really hard to get through. Most of it was hiding behind cover or being instakilled by enemies up until about level 20. After that the game feels way better. It shows its age but if you look past that it has some genuinely fun and funny moments. DLCs are extremely weak, especially Dr. Ned, which is extremely short and the majority of the time I spent on it was doing a filler joke mission collecting around 500 brains total. General Knoxx is mainly driving back and fourth between 3 major destinations while the game throws enemies at you to stop you from doing that and destroying your car, from which you will need to run to the Catch a Ride about 5 minutes away from where your car was destroyed. I cant remember the name of the claptrap DLC, but it is honestly more of Dr. Ned reskinned missions and all. This includes yet another collectathon of around 500 Claptrap parts for Tannis where your reward is....a robot Tannis. The one redeeming thing about this DLC is the somewhat decent boss rush at the very end. Overall I wouldn't have it any other way and if you are the right kind of mentally ill you will enjoy this game as I have.
Its a solid game and I see why it was so popular. However, its just a little too rough around the edges for me to be able to recommend it. Enemies don't feel as cool, the story is weak, and the final boss sucks. A Commander Steele is set up to be a major villain, yet never really does anything. Getting caught on geometry is common. Also my frames would get really unstable sometimes, otherwise it would run a solid 144 fps no problem. Just play Borderlands 2 if you are ok with not seeing where the franchise began.
Une passat avec un lance roquette, bien vu 2k. Par contre le mode coop qui est full bug faut aller modifier des .ini on repassera.
