Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 5.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

polecam

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I absolutely adore Borderlands 1. Played it back in the day on release and it's one of the few games my mum ever suggested to me after seeing it on TV. The story is solid, the gunplay is fun and the humour is the nice sprinkling of seasoning throughout. I will say however, there are some warts going back to it to play it recently as I have (especially as I didn't own the DLCs all those years ago so took the time to play through those this time!). The terrain can be frustrating, I was finding I could get stuck on boulders, bridges with slight lips from overlapping panels of metal, if you get stuck on a bolder, sometimes you slide very very slowly down it and can't jump or move and if you're trying to escape or are mid fight, it can be extremely frustrating. I also found that the game doesn't really scale very well and you can get to levels even during the first playthrough where the only really viable option for getting decent weapons is the golden key chest. I tend to want to try 100% the quests at least and found I had no progression in weapons even before the main story had finished which was a bit sad as the guns are the main draw. This was even worse while playing the DLCs are they're all geared for you being between level 35 and 40ish, so completing General Knoxx's Armoury was crap as I got no benefit from it. Even new game plus is expecting you to be around 35+ so being level 46 after the first run through and DLCs and I'm still not getting any items which are relevant to me really. The DLCs themselves, while the stories are mostly OK, I actually don't think I got much enjoyment out of them besides more slaying. Dr Ned's Island was the best story wise for me personally followed by Claptraps Robot Revolution. Those 2 aren't quite as painful in terms of walking and distances to travel to do quests and such as General Knoxx was as for some reason I cannot fathom beyond just padding the runtime for the DLCs there are no fast travel points bar the one to get you into the area... After reading some comments I didn't even bother with Mad Moxxi's Dome as that's supposed to be painful and one of the worst DLCs ever released for the franchise and I used all my patience on General Knoxx's armoury. Overall however, because of the art style, main story and gameplay I found myself really enjoying replaying this one and found it holds up even after all these years quite well. Performance is a bit hit and miss even on my PC, it was mostly really positive, but especially in New Haven I would see some real performance issues and frame degradation the longer I was in the area and needed to restart the game to get back to normal. I also played occasionally on the steam deck on high settings and that was very playable and quite nice as a game I could take with me out and about!
This is an old game, but still I have a great time playing it and re-playing it. I always find something I didn't see before and develop new tactics.
HIghly recommend. If you loved BL2 you will love this one too.
Wasnt my piece of cake, bullet sponges and nothing really special bout the game hope the other games are better
