Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.86/day in the week to Sep 14 → 9.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Overall, I'd still recommned Boneworks instead for someone new to these two games. There has been enough said about the campaign, so I don't feel like reitorating that it's seriously not abysmal, but it still isn't an experience you absolutely cannot miss out on, and that it's objectively way worse than Boneworks' at the end of the day. I've seen others describe this game as a Boneworks 1.5 but I could hardly even call it that, as it just barely feels like a change from Boneworks in terms of looks and feel, or at the very least I found it hard to notice any shift in areas like the physics for example. As for looks it certainly is different, but that's about as far as it goes, it's graphically better I cannot deny that, but it doesn't outshine Boneworks by much. This game definitely excels in it's sandbox, and it's certainly up to you to see how much enjoyment you can squeeze out of it without mods, this isn't a flaw and is true in the case of Boneworks as well. As for installing mods, it's an easy process and is indeed an endless void of playermodels, guns, maps, and other goodies, and it does, by all means, feel like a way bigger, and dare I say better pool of addons to play with than Boneworks had, not to mention how it's still getting mods made for it to this day. While multiplayer does exist in both games (in the form of mods), Bonelab's solution felt like a fair bit more polished process and end product, and again, since Bonelab has a way more active playerbase, you'll have an easier time finding people. I can't talk about multiplayer much considering I haven't played in a good while, I apologize for that. My goal here isn't to write the end-all-be-all of reviews, and at the end of the day, Bonelab isn't a horrific experience. For 40 euros though, I cannot recommend it, unless you've already played Boneworks, and are itching to get something fairly similar to it, or in the case that you really only care about it's sandbox appeal, multiplayer functionalities, and everything else that goes along with these.
