If you look for a chinese cash grab, this is your game. The Devs are specially fraudulent and overcharge anybody who isn't home in china with a uppricing of up to 200%~ Bugs from S1 still havent been fixxed and they literally put gambling into gambling. The stuff they add as '' new '' is just recycled from other things and dont expect to get any support on their Global Discord either. The A+ Staff isnt even monitoring it at all or online there, unless someone makes an '' oopsie~ '' and sends every player 8k+ Unbound Rose Orbs. You aren't from china? Well get ready to play on an NA or EU server where lag will be your best friend! Once done with content there is nothing to do anymore. You would be better off to go outside and watch grass grow what would be much more entertaining than this game. Not Recommended. Stay far away with a stick in hand from this game. -5 Blueberries / 10 Mochi

it was very boring, the story was so forgettable and feels like a chore
game was made for israel's greatest soldiers
Honestly this game had lot's of potential but I am just not a big fan of the game stopping me from grinding as long as I want no mater the content in the game and honestly this review is going to be all over the place so be ready. From picking if I want to mine or gather because I have and energy as I like to call it, that's cap lets say to 100 and once that runs out I cant do anything else to then wait till reset to then be able to make the things I need to upgrade my gears I am just not a fan, also being cap at how much resources I get from my dungeons runs sucks and the wave to wait for a WEEKLY RESET I'm just not a fan of. Also there where some problem with the story with subs not popping up some scenes coming up late or abruptly ending. The story part is not much of a big deal but still last time I got on this game was MAY 19 of 2026 and the story bugs where still there. The only thing that really makes me to enjoy this game is just how easy it is for you to fall behind other players and how hard it is to catch up, also not boing able to just grind 24hrs to be stronger and farm as much as you wants it just sucks. but combat is fun the dungeons are fun the world look great, I've sat there looking of to nowhere just because it look beautiful, and exploring the world is great. but the limitation is what really makes me not want to ever try this game again sorry. wish it actually did good cuz the anime cross over would have been crazy.
really boring and is an uglier version of genshin like just play genshin but actually dont play genshin bc its gross and made for weird men play road to empress instead its similar to genshin.
this game is fun for a while but gets boring quickly I won't spend time on it it's also full of bugs
I feel compelled to review BPSR for the sake of supporting the game. I don't feel like the popular opinion is for everyone, and is probably scaring away a lot of people who might actually enjoy it. So here's how I see it. (I play on the A-Plus launcher, only demoed on Steam). 1) Gameplay- It's quite fun. It has a weaving ebb and flow that feels excellent. It's crispy on contact, and while it appears simple at first, it requires efficiency to be optimized. In other words, it's deeper than it appears at first. It's not the most complicated combat out there, and that's quite alright. It does the holy trinity style well with some unique healing methods. 2) Monetization- Contrary to popular belief, it's not "pay to win." It is "pay to reach end game content faster and with less effort." Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue but it's much more accurate. Skill is still the main determining factor here. We're talking about top tier raids. Think WOW mythic or FFXIV Ultimate, but less technical to a degree. Personally I have paid $5 for cat ears and that's it. 3) Time gating- well here's a solution for that, instead of playing all your different classes on one character, create multiple characters and play one class per character. This option isn't for everyone but personally I enjoy getting the free resources that each individual gets, as well as having a different character model for each class. You get three per account so you can have one of each role, tank, dps, and healer if you want. 4) Presentation- Most seem to agree that the game looks pretty and sounds good so I wont go into detail here. 5) Performance- Average (if you're within region of either continental US or Europe). It's a lightweight game that a lower spec pc can play. Believe it or not, I started playing on a GT1030, and it worked just fine in 720 and still looked decent. Currently I'm playing on a 10 year old GTX1060 and it works well on mid-low settings in 1080. It still looks quite nice on lower settings. (Tip: lower your native res to increase performance. Fullscreen scales directly from your native even though it shows max res in game setting. Don't use the windowed res in game to adjust it. 6) The mobile factor- I totally get why people may prefer a pc exclusive MMO (as do I), because a game is designed around that platform... BUT... this is a hybrid game, and if you treat it as such then it's a great time. On my lunch break at work today I logged in on my three characters, joined the guild dance (a social feature of the game), collected all my rewards from the day before (in the menu's). And here's the best part- you can do your crafting on the go! No need to burn your valuable free time doing mundane tasks like that. You can earn your mats through combat on pc, then apply your gear upgrades on your phone. Whenever you find yourself chilling away from the pc, crank out a few tasks and then you can focus on the fun stuff on your primary rig. 7) New player experience- The devs just introduced a mentor system, and there's also a dedicated newbie chat where you can ask any questions. Unfortunately though, the game is presented in a way that makes you think you need to rush to the current phase of the season. I'll let you in on a little secret, you don't need to get to the end game today lol. The game uses "catch-up" supplies to help new players "reach the current content alongside your friends." What?? Why do I need to get to the end of the game... at the beginning of the game? It's just a weird presentation that makes many people feel a certain way like they're not worthy unless you're in end-game. Luckily for me, I don't think that way so I never felt pressure to progress quickly. 8) Longevity- If you look at Steam charts, population is sub-optimal. Don't forget though how big the mobile market is, and it's currently rated at 4.7 stars on iOS. A lot of us use a dedicated launchers. But the player count is going down on pc which is why I felt compelled to write this review so people can see another perspective toward the game. 9) Contents- The game (SR) is almost one year old. The original FFXIV before A Realm Reborn was TWO years old before its salvation. Seriously, if you haven't seen the gameplay from back then, go check out FFXIV 1.0 on YouTube and see just how different it became after player feedback. On that note, when ARR came out, you could complete all the content relatively quickly. Now its beyond stuffed with content. This is how it goes with MMOs. Give it some time to grow. If you get to the end and run out of things to do, then play another game until the next season. 10) Gacha system- What gacha system?... I don't use it. Ok all jokes aside, yes there's a gacha but it's not even close to mandatory to enjoy the game. There are silly comparisons to Genshin Impact in reviews. In Genshin, your must have multiple characters to play the game, and you get characters from the gacha. BPSR is absolutely nothing like that, there's some fashion and some currencies, but most commonly it is used for Battle Imagines which are summons that pop into battle to either attack/ shield or boost stats temporarily. You do not need to participate in that gacha if you don't want. You can farm Battle Imagines instead by hunting world bosses. You will also get the occasional free wish, but you're better off just finding some homies to run a hunt party with. There's public events in world chat as well. 11) World and level design- The open world is just a nice play to be. Lovely views, pretty music, lots to explore. Not the biggest yet, but again it's an MMO, it will grow. Flying and parkour movement is super fun and running up walls is pretty cool. Now for my complaint...the dungeon design. The boss areas are fine but the lead up to them is a bit bland. There's a lot of right angles and straight boxed in corridors like an old school dungeon crawler. The first dungeon Tina's Mindrealm looks like what you would expect a dungeon to look like but then from there they seem to lose some flavor. Hopefully we will see some more interesting ones in the future. It's not a deal breaker because they play okay but I would like the devs to be more creative with them, You can tell that was the original intention but they did not follow through there. On the other hand, the social areas are artistically designed well and have good functionality. Additional thoughts: The MMO sickness- I've noticed that there is a trend where people seem to want more than what an MMO has to offer. I think they want a life replacement simulator that makes them feel happy all of the time and can keep them fed and satisfied constantly. If it cant hit them from every single angle all night long, day after day, year after year, then it's junk/ not worth their time. BPSR is a game that hits from certain angles really well and lacks in others, like any other game ever. BPSR is not "Final Guild World of Fantasy Craft Resonance Wars 2." Its not Skycraft 2 either! Xp It's Blue Protocol Star Resonance, and it's beautiful in it's own way. Conclusion- This is how I suggest playing the game to maximize enjoyment if you choose to give it a shot. First, find a friend that's not currently playing the game and see if they will join you on the adventure. It can go a long way to spice up the experience, especially through the first few days. There's also a discord channel where you could meet new people to play with. Or just jump in, surf the guilds list, or chat in newbie chat in game asking for a casual friendly guild. From my personal experience, people are a bit more quiet overall compared to other MMOs, so don't be afraid to put yourself out there and see if anyone wants to do lower level dungeons and bosses with you. You'll be doing "hard" level in a matter of days. Above all, see for yourself if you're having fun after giving it a try :)
