About

Weird West legends meet eldritch horror in BLOOD WEST, an immersive stealth FPS. Become the Undead Gunslinger, doomed to roam the barren lands until he finds the means to purge their curse and free his soul. No, this isn’t your typical Wild West desperado redemption arc. This is a damnation arc.
The Canyons, the Swamp, and the Mountains. Each swarming with abominable monsters and unholy demons, these are open-ended worlds for you to explore freely at your own pace. It will take the player over 20 hours on average to complete all three scenarios, and over 35 if they want to see everything the barren lands have to offer.
Blood West is a stealth FPS inspired by the genre classics such as the Thief series (whose fans will be happy to hear the voice of Stephen Russell, the actor voicing the master-thief Garrett, returning here as the protagonist), S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, or - from the contemporary catalog - Hunt: Showdown. The gameplay rewards the careful approach: scouting the area, stalking your enemies, and striking from the shadows. Can you figure out a way to clear a fort full of ghouls and monsters without raising an alarm?
The Barren Lands present the player with a nightmarish, twisted vision of the Wild West legends. The curse that has befallen the realm has corrupted every living thing, defiled the land itself, while summoning restless spirits and dark entities. In this mixture of gunslinger pulp and Lovecraftian horror, dark occult magick presents just as much of a threat as sudden lead poisoning.
In Blood West you will meet many colorful, yet strangely twisted, fully-voiced NPCs. Just as much prisoners of the Barren Lands as you are, they will sometimes share their unusual stories and send you on various missions. Play nice and they might reward you or become your allies. Cross them and risk their wrath.
The game won’t hold your hand. You’ll have to explore the land for yourself (buying a map from a vendor might prove useful!), and figure out your own way to approach quests. As you poke around the three expansive maps, keep an eye out for hidden places and secret stashes. There’s gold in the mountains! Fair warning - it’s probably cursed.
If sneaking around isn’t exactly your thing, or you feel that you have a power advantage over your enemies, you can always take the head-on approach and meet your enemies guns blazing. Blood West comes from the creators of the fan-favorite boomer shooter POSTAL: Brain Damaged, so much gratuitous fantasy violence and pixelated blood splatter is to be expected!
One man’s hell might be another hoarder’s paradise! From simple one-use items like bandages, through medical tinctures, explosives and incendiaries, straight to arcane artifacts that - once slotted - can change the way you play the game, the Barren Lands are just filled with STUFF. There are tons of useful items to discover, and there’s a special player’s stash crate for all those super-rare potions that you’ll hoard and never use.
A gunslinger without a gun would be just a regular slinger. Where’s the fun in that? Blood West makes sure you’ll have plenty of weapons to choose from. Revolvers, rifles, shotguns, carabines - a great variety of firearms, from standard army-issue to those infused with powerful magic, or straight-up possessed. And if you prefer not to cause a ruckus, there’s a wide selection of hand-to-hand combat weapons and archery weapons to pick your favorites from.
The RPG-like perk-based progression system in Blood West will allow you to highly customize the gameplay experience to your liking. Become a stealthy hunter, a revolver-fanning gunman or a relentless berserker. You will gain experience and progress through the skill tree, while discovering new artifacts in each of the scenarios that will bestow on you additional abilities. Combining skills and load-out creates more possible playstyles than you’d normally be able to explore in one playthrough.

DLC would be great ... But you ruined it again , very pitty ... It is a very dumb decision to put a time limits on a mission , like it was not enough to take everything from if you die ... You guys were one step away from making it right , but as ususal , no.
A pretty darn good stealth FPS with a weird west/eldritch horror element. The main game contains three pretty large maps that allow you to freely explore and scavenge for items, weapons, artifacts that give certain modifiers and more. Enemy variety is nice and plenty have a certain trick or gimmick to them if you want to take them out quickly, which more often than not, you really should. You are very squishy in the beginning so stealth is very highly encouraged but once you get your gear and build going, you can start leaning out of stealth into a more ambush style play that's very fun with the weapon and gear variety, or even a full on aggression style if you're brave enough. Some mechanics do take some getting used to such as learning exactly how stealth and detection works and how various items assist you, since a fair amount of items will also contain some sort of drawback. But once you get into the groove and start figuring out potential builds for your character, it gets very fun. Death can be a bit harsh in beginning so its best to take it slow and learn what enemies are major threats to you and how to safely take them out without getting the horde on you. My main flaws with the game are how some perks/levels don't have as much of an impact as they should compared to gear you can find, and the last map feels a little rushed compared to how the first and second map are. I'm also not big into all three major boss fights, but this is probably more how they have to be able to fit and work with a large variety of different playstyles and builds, but they definitely are not the highlight I think they should be. While I do really enjoy the art style, its definitely one not everyone is going to like as it takes a bit of time to learn what is something that you can pick up and what you can't. With an additional DLC that has a new playable character that has new perks and playstyles, and an upcoming rougelike mode, there's plenty to play if you want a new immersive sim style game to sink your teeth into. Or if you were like me, and wanted something that kind of feels like a more single player experience of Hunt: Showdown (or a game that has a large influence from Hunt.) Recommended.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Zpočátku mě zaujalo prostředí western světa a hezká originální grafika. Ale postupně mě odradila čím dál větší obtížnost. Zvláště u finálního souboje s bossem, kde mě docházeli náboje, oživovací prostředky a hlavně trpělivost.

Solid game but gameplay mechanic lack depth. It's mostly a stealth shooting game that can be enjoyable at times but the stealthing is pretty simplistic, something like you would find in stealth games made three decades ago (fixed path AI with predictable investigative route when bait and they can't even climb stair to reach you if you're hiding on elevated terrain). Death penalty mechanic seems interesting but if you got enemies AIs figure out then you probably won't die a second time ever even on highest difficulty. It's a semi-open world where you are free to roam but after you wrapped up the business in one map, you would move to the other and so forth (There are some minor sidequests and content to discover in each map, the friendly NPCs are simply static sidequests, merchant and dialogues generator). The new Scavengers mode added some replayability but is overall bias towards non-firearms playstyle until you accumulated a lot of resources and ammunition which then firearms would become feasible (Only effective way to farm is stealth-archering the predictable AIs). The reason I gave this game a thumb down is because how frustrating at times to play, not quite rewarding grindy gameplay, explore uninspired map, stealth-archering the same patrol predictable AIs and expecting "more" but it never came, after complete the game and its DLCs I just felt relief more than anything else. All in all I feel that there are better options elsewhere that doesn't give you this annoying feeling when you play. P.S. the aiming in this game just feel weirdly terrible in most weapons, the projectile from your weapons fly straight but feel weird (also firearms has like zero recoil in this game, felt like I was shooting a phaser or something), the playable character aiming down sight somehow give me headache. The long guns are especially terrible, repeaters and buffalo rifles' sights are so bad and never hit where you expect it to, I find it much easier to aim and snipe using pistols and revolvers with range buff, dunno why though. ---------- Edited: Just discovered more clunkiness, I just played Scavenger mode and then I load into main campaign somehow it prompt me into scavenger character selection. I've come to expect the clunkiness of the game in general when playing it (not a good thing) especially disliked how slow time aim skill still persist when you stop aiming.
Унылый стелс, унылые мир, деревянные персонажи, монстры тупые как пробки, второй акт полный бред жалко потраченного времени.
If you're a fan of dark supernatural western vibes, this is it. This is for you and you specifically. You know who you are. Buy this game. Play it. Love it.
