About
Blood Dungeon is a feverish bullet heaven platformer from the creators of Nidhogg.
Run, jump, and climb to avoid hordes of monsters. Duck and weave between enemies. Scramble up ladders, across grates, and over chains. Walls, ceilings, and even the watery depths are your domains to master.
The dungeons contain over 100 different enemies to kill. Bats. Centaurs. Exploding Eyeballs. Some fly through walls while others walk, stick, or bounce on them. Learn their movements, outsmart them, and harvest their blood.
Increase your blood level to upgrade your build, or find chests hidden throughout the arenas.
Circulate around the various drop sites to supplement your arsenal and master each arena.
Visit the Dogmancer to pay the bone toll and unlock permanent upgrades.
Unlock nine bunkmates, each with their own weapon of choice and movement perks. Spin climbable webs as Leggy, take flight with Bug, or speed through the Dungeons as only a Skinja can. Experiment with them all!
9 unlockable playable characters with different traits and weapons
6 unlockable unique survival arenas
Over 100 enemy types
Over 100 quests to complete
Over 100 unlockable weapons and upgrades

No glory in this hole! GOTY!
If this game was Super Mario Bros. 3 then my name would be the MovieBob.
My new addiction. Tried and true format, yes, but be aware that the added platforming and climbing and unique weapons take the VS formula and make it far more dynamic and fun. I can't stop laughing at all the animations and the character designs too. Well worth the price of admission, pick this one up!

It's not very often that I see a new game come out that I've never heard of and feel like I MUST buy it immediately (let alone, write a review). That happened today, with this game. It's very clear that this is still VERY EARLY on. Meaning: while it's still a lot of fun, it doesn't feel very complete. Like, the bones are there, but the content isn't... yet. Does that make sense? In its current state, this should have maybe been released in EARLY ACCESS, followed by months of updates (based on player feedback). The loop is fun. It just needs WAY more. And you know what? That's fine, for this. I'm super-excited to see what every new update brings.
This game rules. Fun platforming, smooth animations, killer soundtrack.
Awesome game, cool art style. I hope to see continued updates and some more content. Buy it.
Scratches that itch. You know the one. The loop is great. The heroes and weapons are terrific. Has that "one more run" quality that you want from a roguelite/like.
Fun game, Boiler level has a catchy tune.
great game simple
Filled the Geometry Wars-sized hole in my life. It brings a much needed level of skill to the bullet heaven genre. The art is fun and goofy in the way you'd expect from the Nidhogg devs, the music keeps you in the flow, and I can't wait to get good.
