About
Blood Dungeon is a feverish bullet heaven platformer from the creators of Nidhogg.
Run, jump, and climb to avoid hordes of monsters. Duck and weave between enemies. Scramble up ladders, across grates, and over chains. Walls, ceilings, and even the watery depths are your domains to master.
The dungeons contain over 100 different enemies to kill. Bats. Centaurs. Exploding Eyeballs. Some fly through walls while others walk, stick, or bounce on them. Learn their movements, outsmart them, and harvest their blood.
Increase your blood level to upgrade your build, or find chests hidden throughout the arenas.
Circulate around the various drop sites to supplement your arsenal and master each arena.
Visit the Dogmancer to pay the bone toll and unlock permanent upgrades.
Unlock nine bunkmates, each with their own weapon of choice and movement perks. Spin climbable webs as Leggy, take flight with Bug, or speed through the Dungeons as only a Skinja can. Experiment with them all!

Reviews
A few dozen runs in this seems pretty good. Game starts out kinda slow but ramps up the bullet haven madness over time. Movement and routing is a big part of the skill ceiling. Challenge feels a bit uneven with weird spikes for some bosses and walls at certain (timed) waves, but meta progression definitely makes a noticeable impact and I'm still early. Wish there was some way to see enemy hps, damage feedback is pretty minimal. Artstyle is nicely distinct but even so can get a little busy with higher spawnrates, OST is great and layers more and more as you go through the waves.

Great game. If you like vamp survivors youll love this
finally, a punk autobattler
Blood Dungeon has style and personality in spades. The art direction is great, the humor absolutely works for me, and the developers clearly put effort into ridiculous little details. There is literally a fart weapon with different sound effects on land and underwater. 10/10. No notes. Unfortunately, I wish that same level of care had gone into the weapon balance and overall progression. The difference in weapon strength is enormous. Some weapons can carry a run comfortably, while others feel almost useless once enemy HP starts scaling up. After the first boss, enemies suddenly become much tankier, and if your build did not happen to roll the right weapons or upgrades, the game quickly turns into a damage sponge simulator. It stops feeling like I am experimenting with different builds and starts feeling like I am simply waiting for RNG to give me one of the weapons that actually works. That is especially disappointing for a Survivors-like. In Vampire Survivors, even mediocre weapons usually have a payoff: level them up, evolve them, and eventually they become powerful enough to justify the investment. Here, some weapons just seem to go from weak to slightly less weak. Meanwhile, a handful of stronger weapons scale far better and make the difference between a playable run and an unbearably slow one. The game also becomes repetitive surprisingly quickly. There are funny weapons, funny characters and plenty of charm, but once the joke has landed, there is not enough build variety or progression depth to keep me interested in doing the same thing over and over again. My completely scientific rating: Style: 10/10 Humor: 10/10 Normal fart sound effect: 10/10 Underwater fart sound effect: 10/10 Weapon balance: 0/10 Game balance: 0/10 Replayability: 1/10 Repetition: 10/10 PS:I really wanted to recommend Blood Dungeon because I genuinely like its personality. But right now, I laughed a lot more than I enjoyed actually playing it.
