Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 23 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Strap on your boots, don your helmet, adjust your shoulder guards and chest plate… and slip a sharpened dagger into your belt (discreetly).
Wars are no longer fought in the Old World since the populace decided to resolve their differences through a sport dedicated to the god Nuffle: Blood Bowl. However, just as much blood is shed in this sport as on the battlefields it replaced. Murder, mutilation, cheating, corruption, sorcery and even divine intervention are all fair game on the pitch, to the delight of every rabid fan!
An agent has spotted your coaching achievements on the pitch and has decided to pay for you and your team to participate in a brand-new Blood Bowl event: the Clash of Sponsors. Can you destroy your opponents and make the crowd dream?
As well as the campaign and friendly matches against other players or the AI, Blood Bowl 3 has an all-new competitive mode in which you can compete against other players of all levels and from all over the world:

I was super excited to play BB3, sadly the game is just not ready. Its overpriced, low populated (no wonder) and the UI is terrible. I think BB2 is just better and BB3 active harms the community, because it splits the players between the two games.

Even though I'll never forgive myself for buying this game "early" to try the new rules, I try to play it. I really do. Every six months or so, I launch it again in hopes the devs realize how messy and overcharged the interface is, and how absurdly unreadable the contextual wheel is 80% of the time (the unavoidable result of countless tone on tone issues, design basics anyone ?). The display bugs/delays I experience on my 13600KF/4070 setup I can live with, but it's not exactly a plus, fixing it would be nice too (fun fact : all this and more was in the original reviews, like two and a half years ago). But every time, I end up rage quitting after 5 to 10 minutes OF SOLO PLAY trying to tame that freaking interface, because of something I missed or unwillingly clicked on. And please believe I have the love and patience, I'm onboard since Chaos League and must have around a thousand hours on the various iterations of the game. It took BB2 a very long time before being the faithful, enjoyable game it became, but in the end it did, and it was great. BB3 took so many early wrong turns that I seriously doubt it'll ever feel "finished", let alone "polished". Add to this the contemptible GW business model ("Never buy a BloodBowl game before the Legenday Edition", damn I should have listen to myself), and I'm out of nails for this coffin. Sorry Cyanide, I just pray you guys don't get to make BB4.

as far as a blood bowl game goes its pretty solid, as other reviews say though ui is an issue, as are the mad amount of microtransactions. Reading it seems they have gotten better, i dont know what they used to be but even now i think its far too much. Theres a real life price hidden behind the "warpstones" for literally every cosmetic (head, left arm, right arm, left shoulder, right shoulder and body are all different cosmetics that all cost individually, no full outfits) along with the way the steam store looks like theres a new team released every season and you can just pick em up and go, you absolutely cannot. You cant try new teams without buying them, and some teams will rack up around £10 - £15 for the absolute basics, but ofcourse the more popular teams are priced higher, and that price doesnt include any packs that come with cosmetics. Along with these issues i play on a steam deck on the train, the offline and online modes are completely seperate profiles and even against ai it can take a few minutes PER PLAYER for the ai to make a decision what it wants them to do. I dont know if this is because it calls back to a server to check or anything, but playing offline doesnt have this issue.
buggy and slow release of content
Let me open this by saying I love blood bowl and BB2 was a game I sunk hundreds of hours into with friends and strangers knocking the ball about the pitch while trying to injure each other. So I WANT to like this game! However I have tried this game for 3 seasons now and its just permanently broken. Most things they say they fix in the patch notes return a patch or two later to be broken in the exact same way. What few bugs that are fixed permanently are replaced by all new bugs!! An example is the latest season introducing and highlighting the newest team, Vampires!! Meanwhile in actual ranked season games half the vampires skills dont show up on the pitch even if you enable and disable and re-enable the settings to show theirs skills and debuffs. This is just one minor example of a bug but it shows how even the most OBVIOUS BUGS are just completely uploaded into the game with no QA and little to no follow up. Cyanide consistently highlights in their own new teams/releases what a broken game this truly is and how completely incompetent they are at fixing the problems despite literal years of patches at this point. Do not buy this game, you are wasting your money!
UI takes some getting used to, but this is the best pc iteration of this classic tabletop game ever. The ongoing support from developer has been terrific, specifically, the changes for the upcoming new edition are included as free update.
Not as bad as some reviews says. I would say that the game does the job pretty well. Only downside for me is the absence of an offline 'sandbox' mode like it existed in BB1 long time ago. AI level is not fantastic, but hey, setting up an AI for BB is an extremely difficult task.
