Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 23 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Strap on your boots, don your helmet, adjust your shoulder guards and chest plate… and slip a sharpened dagger into your belt (discreetly).
Wars are no longer fought in the Old World since the populace decided to resolve their differences through a sport dedicated to the god Nuffle: Blood Bowl. However, just as much blood is shed in this sport as on the battlefields it replaced. Murder, mutilation, cheating, corruption, sorcery and even divine intervention are all fair game on the pitch, to the delight of every rabid fan!
An agent has spotted your coaching achievements on the pitch and has decided to pay for you and your team to participate in a brand-new Blood Bowl event: the Clash of Sponsors. Can you destroy your opponents and make the crowd dream?
As well as the campaign and friendly matches against other players or the AI, Blood Bowl 3 has an all-new competitive mode in which you can compete against other players of all levels and from all over the world:
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Before you let all the negative reviews dissuade you from buying this game, on sale it is absolutely worth the price. Slitherine just picked up the game (known for Battlesector and Gladius) and have announced plans to update it to the current tabletop ruleset, add sevens (Rumble), as well as some quality of life adjustments. Overall the game of Blood Bowl is fun, I play both the digital version as well as the physical tabletop version. Some people will argue that the monetization for this game is insane, and while yes optional cosmetics are very expensive, $10 for a team is much cheaper than the plastic ones you have to assemble yourself and paint. One could argue you're buying the game so you shouldn't have to buy the teams, but this game at full price is cheaper than a single IRL plastic team, and it includes a bunch of teams with it. I understand greedy microtransactions, but its the big 2026 are we really surprised by that as this point? The gameplay itself is fine, the rules are BB2020 (current is BB2025) so it has its quirks and certain mechanics feel less usable than others (I'm looking at you, passing). It lost some of the flair from Blood Bowl 2, but I have hopes for this game in the future and what is to come.

Predatory as ♥♥♥♥, ruined by microtransactions. All the new teams and customizations are behind a predatory paywall. Want to play a team from a previous season? ♥♥♥♥ you, pay up. Want to change your players to not look basic and boring? ♥♥♥♥ you, pay up. A team from old seasons costs 750 warpstone. Ofcourse you can only buy warpstone in increments of 200, 500, 1050, so you will always be buying more then you need. Oh hey, a season has a reward track. Oh wait, you have to pay 1000 warpstone to unlock 90% of the rewards. More predatory then ted bundy ever was.
They sell even their grandmother for special currency in this game, all the micro transaction shenanigans are in here, its crazy.
At the core this is a poorly made game made by a studio that did not even have a basic understanding of the goal of tabletop Blood Bowl. This is a poorly executed cash grab and even picking it up for $10 on sale it was a waste of time and money. Lack of features and QoL coupled with an absolute unnecessary amount of micro-transactions and it's pretty obvious that this is barely a step up from an asset-swap game. Beyond it's failures to capture the spirit of Blood Bowl it's just a bad game set-up in a bad way.
just completed a match in the campaign and had the server disconnect and not award me the win... this game came out in 2023 and it still doesn't work. Avoid!
what microtransactions does to a game
Probably the worst user interface I have ever seen on a game. There is no clear tutorial, nor indicators, on how to use unique skills for teams. The random chance of your turn just ending, or not being able to pick up a player or blitz, without any legitimate reasons is infuriating. I've been playing the tabletop version of this game for 2 years against well seasoned players. I learned more in 5 minutes of my first game on tabletop than the 4 hours I've been struggling to grasp the bare minimum of how tf you pick up a prone player. TL;DR - This game is garbage, go play on fumbbl for free or find a local tabletop league and save your money for a box.
The controls are suck. The game does not let you make your team names with out numbers. The computer cheats. I f you want to play blood bowl season 3 and you can afford the models play the table top. Plus the pay wall if you want to get a race that you want to play. I hope blood bowl 3 and their creaters join Tzeench in his realm were they belong.
No tiene mucho que ver con jugar a la versión de mesa, los dados no son muy aleatorios.
So Blood Bowl in general is fun. It's always fun to beat the hell out of another team and then charge downfield with a football. The team and unit variety is quite creative and unit upgrades are rewarding. Is this version any better than buying the first two games? Only if you want to play with a newer ruleset, and honestly, this one just seems to destroy the passing game outside of a few units and significantly lessens a lot of the fun, random nature of unit upgrades by giving you nearly complete control to min-max along a set path. Fortunately, they seem willing to adopt the upcoming even newer ruleset, which opens passing back up and makes picking up the ball less of an adventure. The commentary is limited and annoying. The AI isn't atrocious, but I'll grant that they never came close to scoring a touchdown against me in seven games, so it's not great. Even single player matches against the AI require you to be online and don't allow you to save your progress partway through and matches take the better part of an hour to play. The microtransactions are obviously bad. Any company selling custom currency and battle passes deserves to be repeatedly punched in the face. If they made extra teams available through the Steam store, I might eventually buy them on sale. I'm not buying their warpstone currency and honestly, most teams pretty much just have fast guys and punchy guys and develop down the same archetypes while gaining levels, so I don't feel left out in not being able to play with the additional models. I paid $12 for the game on sale and got my money's worth of enjoyment out of that.
