Bloo Kid 2

Really only get this for nostalgia. The levels can be pretty fun sometimes, but certainly not always, and some of the challenges are annoying as heck. Has a few annoying platformer features like not always seeing where you're landing or where you're jumping to, getting hit by enemies off screen, etc.

Simplistic little game whose "parent" was a mobile single-screen platformer. Can't compete against Super Mario Bros or most other major platforming titles, but there're plenty of worse specimen on the market.

If you are fond of retro games, and want another game to pass the time with, Bloo Kid 2 may be for you. While it may not be impressive from a technological standpoint, nor does it bring many new ideas to the table, this game is able to hold up well and stand out against the other games on the sea of borderline Mario rip-offs. While calling this game original may be a stretch, I would also say that calling it a rip off of the popular franchise would also be a stretch. At it's core, Bloo Kid 2 is a homage game, made for people wanting to relive the games of the retro era. The chip tune soundtrack of this game is upbeat and fun to listen to. The sound effects, while harsh to the ears sometimes, fit well into the game. The controls are tight and easy to learn, and with five worlds, each with nine levels, and three extra levels, with each level having nine challenges to complete, this game has a surprising amount of game play and can keep one entertained for hours. Overall, I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun, inexpensive platformer to pass the time with, or anyone looking to relive some childhood nostalgia. I'd rate this game at a 7.5/10

Внезапно не хочется ставить этой игре положительный обзор. С одной стороны она сделана как будто по идеальному шаблону марио-like игр, что даже придраться не к чему. Но в то же время есть ощущение, что 99%, кто в нее играл, просто прошли несколько уровней и дропнули, просто потому, что она ничем не цепляет. И так и есть. Ну напишу я положительный обзор, а смысл, если игру я дропнул, как и все остальные люди, не наиграв и больше часа.
