Blippo+

Worth every penny.

I got this game on my Playdate and when I saw there was a full HD and color version on Steam, I was very excited! I want there to be some big final climactic moment while playing/watching, A truer and deeper understanding of Planet Blip and it's "people", but I'm increasingly unsure if it's coming. I'll keep watching from time and time and I hope my time and attention pays off in the end! Great little experience!

Surf the alien airwaves across a bite-sized recreation of 90s cable television, with channels recalling PBS, MTV, TNT/TBS, and more. Blippo+ offers incredibly creative, compelling, and funny work across multiple styles and genres.

The trailer will already tell you whether this game is for you. It's a love letter to old media and serves up a type of optimism that is rare these days. A neat 6 hour experience, with a heavy serving of VHS nostalgia and vaporwave, with a bit of an anticlimactic ending. But maybe what matters is the silly characters we met along the way. Favorite segments: Clone Trois, Bushwalker, Total Calm

Channel Surfing: The Game. This game is like a lens into human creativity and my childhood. There was something unique about old cable-tv in the way that you sub-consciously knew that you and countless others were watching something together at the same time. made you not want to miss that new episode of Wheel of Fortune or AFV. Blippo harkens back to a more optimistic time in media. And you can tell a lot of love was put into every minute of this. 10/10 I recommend this for anyone looking for a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
