Big Ambitions is a revolutionary role-playing business sim. Go from nothing to the biggest entrepreneur in New York by opening small businesses or slowly building huge corporations any way you like.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 20/day in the week to Aug 28 → 78.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Your bank balance is tiny, but your ambitions are big.
With a little help from your uncle, you get an apartment and your first job. But then it's up to you to achieve success and take over New York City any way you like.
Slowly build multiple small businesses, grow them into huge corporations, or carve your own unique path – the possibilities are limitless in this vast business sandbox. You've never played anything like this!
Go from a small apartment and public transport to luxury suites, fast cars and designer furniture. Put your money into investment funds and real estate. Succeed, fail, rebuild. But remember to take care of yourself, sleep and stay happy on your rise to the top.
Do you have what it takes to build your own empire?

Go from nothing to the most prominent tycoon in New York. Start a business, work smart, make it thrive and enjoy your life. How do you want to be successful? How far can you push it? How long can you make it last?
Start your own gift shop, supermarket, coffee shop, law firm, clothing store, liquor store, florist, and more. You decide what success is - whether it’s a single shop, a chain of fast-food restaurants, a huge corporation, or making millions developing websites.
Take out a loan, rent a building, design the logo, renovate the store, get stock, manage your money, hire staff, and build your infrastructure. Soon, you may have to start importing products from the harbour and distributing them through a network of warehouses.
A bigger business means managers. Hire HR Managers, Logistics Managers, and Purchasing Agents. They all need desks and computers, so you’ll need a fancy headquarters.
Need a delivery truck? Travel to a dealer and buy one. Need food? Go to a supermarket, but make sure you have a refrigerator at home. Big Ambitions is a life sim where your character has to physically interact with the world to survive and succeed.
Enter any building in New York and buy it. Go from a small apartment to a dream penthouse in midtown, a luxurious townhouse in Hell’s Kitchen, or a series of skyscrapers. Fill each with furniture that suits your style and standing. Invest your hard-earned cash in real estate to grow your empire. Take over the city piece by piece.
Spend your wealth however you wish. Buy a big SUV, a speedy sports car, or the new luxurious Mersaidi S500. Maybe risk it all at the casinos or put your money into investment funds and reap the rewards.
As you progress, you always need to ensure you get enough sleep and stay healthy and happy. Enjoy the journey, for as you grow older, you’ll discover that money can’t buy you time... or can it?
Big Ambitions takes what you love about the viral sensation ‘Startup Company’ to even greater heights.

This game has something unique that its competitors don't quite succeed at getting at. The review score speaks for itself. I managed to play 200 hours of Big Ambitions from 2023 to 2025, back when it was in very early access. If this Management/Economy Sims aren't normally your thing, BA is the best bet to make you discover the genre and share to you its charms. If you used to play Sim City back in the day but haven't really felt like playing anything similar in the last decade, this one will make you change your mind. Though you may not get into the genre itself, just into BA alone. Now that 1.0 has arrived, it's very safe to say that you can sink at the very least a hundred hours (likely more) in it without getting bored.

Going to get my value out of it since I can't refund it, but this game is incredibly mid. You'll spend much of the early game actually navigating being stuck in traffic for that real New York experience. I have lost count of how many times I've been stuck at a red light behind three cars and have to miss getting somewhere by close or just cut across three lanes and run every light. Then you'll soon find out that half the information you need is obfuscated in some way and requires multiple menus or buttons to access. Need to know if you need more marketing? It's not so simple as relying on the marketing UI because it can still just tell you outright false and misleading claims. You need to go into bizman and change it from "live" so you can see if met the traffic from previous days. Basically everything is just a mathematical formula that functions when convenient. Being in your shop while your cashier goes to the bathroom will actually bottleneck sales; you can fix this by just not being inside so it simulates everything in aggregate. The tutorial actually sets you up to fail. The game is a balancing nightmare. Is there even a point to things beyond clothing, gift, and jewelry shops? The game is just full of half baked mechanics and poor explanations. The tutorial probably should have told me I can hit F1 and search for things, but at this point, I'm not surprised I didn't know how half the mechanics actually functioned until I started googling. Don't worry, the game isn't going to explain how theft happens with the 100% security score either. It doesn't tell you every customer who enters will roll on a flat percentage and your security score just makes it less likely they steal, but not preventable or interactable with in any way.
Great managment sim, not overly complex nor overly simple. Great amount of buisness freedom to execute your empire building as you like. Can play both tall and wide effiecently, micro manage or automate whichever parts of the game you like. Only thing I would ask for is the ability to get into the specialized industries like casinos or gas stations, wholesale to other NPC buisnesses or real estate to charge rents. Hopefully these are coming soon, becuase all in all the game is very strong, easy 8/10 and if you like managment games even a 9/10.
I did not enjoy a single second of this game. I truly don't understand why anyone would recommend this game, but obviously lots of people enjoy it, so maybe the issue is with me. But this is the jankiest junk I've played in a long time. The actions you have to perform at the start make very little sense (simply putting food in the fridge was difficult - and why the hell am I doing that? What is this, The Sims?). Maybe it gets better but I was so fed up after about 20 minutes that I uninstalled it. I forgot to request a refund in time, but if you don't have much patience with counter-intuitive junk, like me, then I simply cannot recommend this.
The problem with this game, is that they chose to have it in third person, and make you actively live in the city. However, if you have completed your tasks, there is nothing else to do. Its a sim game where the only sim is business, so from my point of view, its just busy work with no reason.
