Big Ambitions is a revolutionary role-playing business sim. Go from nothing to the biggest entrepreneur in New York by opening small businesses or slowly building huge corporations any way you like.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 20/day in the week to Aug 28 → 78.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Your bank balance is tiny, but your ambitions are big.
With a little help from your uncle, you get an apartment and your first job. But then it's up to you to achieve success and take over New York City any way you like.
Slowly build multiple small businesses, grow them into huge corporations, or carve your own unique path – the possibilities are limitless in this vast business sandbox. You've never played anything like this!
Go from a small apartment and public transport to luxury suites, fast cars and designer furniture. Put your money into investment funds and real estate. Succeed, fail, rebuild. But remember to take care of yourself, sleep and stay happy on your rise to the top.
Do you have what it takes to build your own empire?

Go from nothing to the most prominent tycoon in New York. Start a business, work smart, make it thrive and enjoy your life. How do you want to be successful? How far can you push it? How long can you make it last?
Start your own gift shop, supermarket, coffee shop, law firm, clothing store, liquor store, florist, and more. You decide what success is - whether it’s a single shop, a chain of fast-food restaurants, a huge corporation, or making millions developing websites.
Take out a loan, rent a building, design the logo, renovate the store, get stock, manage your money, hire staff, and build your infrastructure. Soon, you may have to start importing products from the harbour and distributing them through a network of warehouses.
A bigger business means managers. Hire HR Managers, Logistics Managers, and Purchasing Agents. They all need desks and computers, so you’ll need a fancy headquarters.
Need a delivery truck? Travel to a dealer and buy one. Need food? Go to a supermarket, but make sure you have a refrigerator at home. Big Ambitions is a life sim where your character has to physically interact with the world to survive and succeed.
Enter any building in New York and buy it. Go from a small apartment to a dream penthouse in midtown, a luxurious townhouse in Hell’s Kitchen, or a series of skyscrapers. Fill each with furniture that suits your style and standing. Invest your hard-earned cash in real estate to grow your empire. Take over the city piece by piece.
Spend your wealth however you wish. Buy a big SUV, a speedy sports car, or the new luxurious Mersaidi S500. Maybe risk it all at the casinos or put your money into investment funds and reap the rewards.
As you progress, you always need to ensure you get enough sleep and stay healthy and happy. Enjoy the journey, for as you grow older, you’ll discover that money can’t buy you time... or can it?
Big Ambitions takes what you love about the viral sensation ‘Startup Company’ to even greater heights.

When I heard ‘New York business management simulator in the 3rd person’, my curiosity got the better of me and I wasn’t disappointed. In the early game, your rich uncle acts as the tutorial and you find yourself running around supplying your small shop in New York with whatever you’ve chosen to sell. You can design the colour scheme and layout of your shop in pretty granular detail. You can even drive around the city, delivering stuff yourself and you only have to obey some of the traffic laws (I’ll get to that later) and the more you earn, the bigger your businesses grow and the easier they become to automate. A couple hours in, your rich uncle helps you set up a HQ office building that will handle all your deliveries, logistics, HR and recruitment. From that point on, there’s very little to actually busy yourself with, as all of your businesses will continue to make money as long as you have effectively managed the figures on your supply chains. So you’ll find yourself sitting around watching TV and playing videogames while the money rolls in. I do find it hilarious that you can choose not to bathe or take a dump for a week and then finally doing so on Friday gives you a happiness bump. I’m about 60 hours in now. My businesses are making about a million dollars a day and I have bought a mansion in The Hamptons. My rich uncle has gone silent now. I can’t even go over to his house. I can play golf or tennis, but the minigames for those are both agonizingly boring and I quit both after a single match. Suddenly I am confronted with a horrible question for the first time in the game. What am I supposed to do with all this money? Buy another boat? A faster car? Remember those traffic laws I mentioned earlier? I can park in the middle of the street now, as traffic fines are no more than a drop in the ocean. Perhaps I'm not the right audience for getting excited about large amounts of money, but for a game called 'Big Ambitions', I can’t help but feel like I’ve hit the ceiling towards the endgame. It would be cool if there were a few massively expensive supergoals you could invest in towards the endgame. You get a happiness bump throughout the game by giving $100 to homeless people out on the streets. What if one of the endgame supergoals was “Solve Homelessness in NYC”? How about “Cure Cancer”, or “Build a Space Station”? You could even have some non-altruistic ones like “Become King” or “Build an 800ft golden statue of yourself where the Empire State Building used to be” Some kind of legacy, rather than just dragon-hoarding a bunch of money. Or perhaps this is exactly the point and the game is actually trying to teach us all a valuable lesson about the foleys of wealth? Could this be why all the billionaires of the world are so disaffected and alienated? ... nah it's probably not that deep. tldr; really fun game. The endgame just needs a bit of work to give the player something non-frivolous to actually do with their vast sums of wealth!

Great management game. A lot to explore and lot of fun. Can't wait for the full game and having more expansions of the map.
I parked flatbed trolley on the middle of the road. then i went back home to play this game and park again. Edit: need to earn more money and sleep Huang Guo's wife to show dominant
It’s a really cool game to play together with my husband, unfortunately right now the only way to play it mp is with a mod and the devs don’t have any plans towards multiplayer. Once it changes I’ll change the review to positive. edit: i'm looking forward to 1.0 if you are reading this, person that made multiplayer mod is GOATED. Looking forward for your updates with this one!

Simply addictive. My sleep schedule is once again ruined. Its already 5 AM and I have to work in a few hours. WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE 😭
