Some unhinged fun, it's crazy in a good way. Gets a little grindy if you finish everything, but even that isn't too long. Horror elements are pretty mild, mostly atmospheric from the odd surroundings. No real jumpscares but a startle or two here and there. Story's just a little played-out I think. It's a slightly new take on a classic, but it still has something true to say. The loop of cramming metric tons of fruit down a ravenous, gaping hole was oddly satisfying.

Getting to all the endings was one of th emost endurance testing things I ever did, but the game was pretty fun, although I did expect a lot more horror in my horror game. Still pretty well made though

There was a story but the addictiveness of the gameplay itself holds the game up. This will fry your brain in an amazing way.
It's great for if you want 10 hours of fun gameplay and puzzle solving [spoiler] except that yarn puzzle you couldn't beat the answer out of me with a wall smasher [/spoiler] and has a great story and gameplay loop
I think this title is among the best in the incremental genre. One of the endings genuinely brought a tear to my eye. A great balance of horror, humanity and comedy. It's not just number go up, and the puzzles were both challenging and unique. Highly recommended.

Cool little game about berries walking around and making so many berries that you can't walk around. Then you fall in a hole.
I found Berry Bury Berry to be a nice addition to the "3D rinse and repeat" type of incremental games. I was recommended it after playing games like A Game About Digging a Hole and Lumberjacked, and it fits into that niche perfectly. The art feels fun and whimsical, and I'm happy they added options to turn down the effects because I get motion sick easily, so the option to customize the experience is really appreciated. The only thing I didn't like about the game was that it's not truly a horror game. I went into it mostly blind, only knowing that it was an incremental game and that I was told it was a horror game. The horror elements are there, but it's mostly a murder story with no tension or jump scares. You feel dread for the first couple of minutes, but then realize it's actually a rather safe game, and there's nothing to be afraid of. Overall, I enjoyed my time playing and recommend the game if you're into the genre, but don't go in expecting scares or you'll be disappointed.
