Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Sep 13 → 8.75/day in the week after.
About
Welcome aboard the Determination Bringer!
You have been appointed senior conductor of the legendary train, which all the citizens of our vast country are happy to see in their cities. Your responsibilities are maintaining order in the carriage assigned to you and providing assistance to passengers along the way. Your tools are reporting, intimidation, searches and ejection. Remember: the conductor is always right.
Carefully monitor everyone who enters the carriage and decide what to do with fare-evaders. Observe and report all suspicious, unauthorized and basically any passenger activity. Search the baggage and call the police if you find prohibited items.
Get access to the dining car or VIP compartments and carriages where high-ranking officials and big industrialists ride. Keep an eye on your colleagues and report their accepting bribes or transporting banned goods. The Ministry will not let your dedication go unnoticed.
Earn the trust of higher-ups in order to receive special assignments. Their level of secrecy will depend on your loyalty, and completion will be rewarded with a bonus or even a promotion. You will also encounter smugglers — transporting their packages along the route is risky, but profitable.

Visit various stations and remote corners of the country. Make difficult decisions determining the fate of passengers and your colleagues. What kind of person will you be at the end of the journey? The choice is yours!
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, GOG, Xbox, Nintendo, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

An extremely linear and downright un-original game. The devs really wanted to make "Papers Please!", but now in a train, but missed out big time. Timers don't really pose a challenge as you will be fast-forwarding most of the time, situations that have two ways of being done ALWAYS have one wrong and one right answer, so there really is no choice, and most of the items you can get from the shop or kitchen are unusable. Not to mention it has pretty much nothing to do with previous games. Really wasted my time on an extremely linear "Papers, Please!" wannabe. 3/10
Foreword: I bought all 4 Beholder Titles. I played 1-3 Back-to-Back, I took a break and came into Conductor fresh. This was a pretty interesting design concept, because rather than people living within your building we now have Train Cabins and a sense of Urgency because what happens when people reach their designated stop? You know what happens? Nothing. Because the sense of urgency and the ever-pressing time crunch really did ruin this title for me, it was an anxiety race for the first 2-3hrs, and then mind-numbing as more and more carriages were emptyy or lacking any story based reason to visit. Beholder: Conductor for me was another experiment that the Devs took, much like with 2, to take the game in to a new direction and I appreciate that because it's not as if Game 4 (5 with DLC) could be yet another tower block/boarding house is it? People would complain "We've done this before!" so I appreciate taking the game in a new direction, it's just that for me this didn't really feel as good as 1 or 3. It's DEEEEEEFINITELY better than 2 though, because despite being on a train it wasn't Linear! (I'm sure that Puns been made dozens of times in other reviews...)

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I came for the THING. I got the THING. N------------------ice. A very nice.
There is one missable condition that will dictate whether you get the good ending or not very early into the game. On top of that, nothing indicates the relevance and importance it has to the endings you get. It simply isn't worth the time to redo everything again just for a different ending. It's a shame because the premise was interesting.

The biggest fear with games like this is that your choices are just an illusion, but Conductor actually commits to consequences. You're the conductor on a moving train for the State, and every decision you make ripples. It’s stressful, dark, and your choices actually dictate who survives the trip. Easily worth a run or two.
Not bad but not a masterpiece, animations are very pleasant to look at, plot is rather interesting however game is short and can be completed in less than 5 hours, also the system of being a conductor itself is rather flat and loses any purpose after moving to first class. In short, game is like a beer, good for one night.
