For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's decent, a nice time waster. BUT it gets old quick. There isn't enough to do or enough randomization. I like games like this so I would rate it like... 6.5/10 or 7ish. I like breeding the bugs, I like attacking enemies, and I like the little cave. I would love to see a mode where you just breed and sell bugs WITH an option to battle them ;)
One of the levels for combat is someone's shallow grave. This is a super simple colony sim game with some base building elements, basic RTS combat and very straightforward genetics / breeding mechanics. Super enjoyable for fans of simple strategy games or those interested in the genre but need something less complex. The art style is peak too. Gives me a 2005 "my turn for computer stations" in second grade vibe.

I realy do like this game! i love how the item descriptions seem to be written by the beetles. i think it adds some more humor to the game. I also like how you can't fully relly on the spoils of the levels to carry you through the game and have to send them on foraging quests to win. some people might think of it as a complaint, but i think it adds some relisim. the breeding is complex at first, but once you get far in the game it makes more sense. my only complaint is that when a beetle dies, it doesn't wait until the for the foraging quest is over to tell you. it jumpscares me every time.
I ... uh ... what? I don't know what I expected, but this wasn't it. I thought I'd buy an RTS and colony builder, which it clearly says in the tags, but my goodness, this is an ugly, bad little game with NO RTS mechanics to speak of (you get control of a "swarm" and tell it to move with left click, that's it... they attack on their own, get stuck on terrain on their own ... and die on their own). That IS the entire combat in this game. The other half is a weird sort of "Sims Bug Life", I guess? Only without any charm whatsoever. You have a "home", and your bugs like to eat, toy and sleep and be cared for by their parents. Then you "go on missions", which are either the aforementioned bad and utterly boring combat missions or just background tasks with a percentage chance of success and injury/death to increase you level to field more and better bugs, which all basically look the same, then you somehow "breed" them, but you get 9 offspring and can only keep 1, though? And you have to keep track of 10 stats or so to determine, which one is the "best"? And then you just multiply that one bug 100 times to create a swarm to attack enemy bugs ... I don't care whether it's bugs, ants, spiders or whatever, the combat isn't fun, so it doesn't matter. The "goals" are "kill x" and "kill x in under x minutes" for you to get more "stars". What those stars exactly do, no idea. The tutorial is basically almost non-existent. Got this for like 2 bucks on sale, didn't get around to playing it until now, and I still feel ripped off. Too late for a refund, though. Serves me right. Steer clear and probably get "Empires of the Undergrowth" instead.
After i played this game for 30 hours i can say: it al start nice, but later on you understand how complicated they made this. To make better beetles you need combine them, wich you slowly gain better. the problem is, you keep the beetles you combine, i wish they auto delete them...after combine, you need to delete manualy. Also the beetles eat a lot, you need keep filling your nest with a slot stuff. The game could be so much better if that wasnt the case. It would also be nice, to have a diff scroll bar for diff type of beetles. After playing Empire of the underground i thought why not try this game. But after 7 territorys done, i am done, and dont even wanna complete the game anymore. It can have so much potential but it doesnt. In my opponinion dont get this game. but tastes diff. Im sorry but this is a no for me. i bought it, and im dissaponted after playing 26 hours.
i dont know why this game didnt do well but it surely needs a chance i liked it
I really like this game. It's a little under-developed, but what's here is certainly playable. I'm really enjoying building my beetle colony... It's so cozy to play. Seeing beetles chill out with each other in your custom-built nest is great. And I like the random patterns each beetle can have. While the genetic system is a bit confusing, it's ultimately the most complex part of the game and requires some special paying attention to for obtaining the best beetle stats. Combat is pretty much as basic as it comes, so the strategy really comes from managing your beetles so that they are prepared for battle. It's more of a cinematic experience than a skill-based one, you see? Here's my issues: Although I wish there were more at-home events, or ways to bond with your beetles. The music is really generic, which makes it terrible. I would've loved some atmospheric, relaxing fun. The opening cinematic and its story are... Really lackluster and terrible. I mean, windows movie maker-tier! A good one, I must say, though certainly some untapped potential here. Play for a more relaxing bit o' beetle fun!!
Its a cool concept and something different.
yes
Lovely game. Could need some rework here and there but overall enjoyable. I just love insect games, ok?
