About

Beasts of Bermuda is a multiplayer survival game in which the player is a dinosaur or other prehistoric creature. A player can take the role of flyers, swimmers, herbivores, carnivores, and semi-aquatic creatures that fulfill different niches in the ecosystem. No matter what the player chooses to be, the objective of the game is to survive and grow up on the islands of Bermuda by using their particular creature's abilities. Predation from other players as well as intense environmental events are the antagonistic forces in the game the player must survive against.
There are currently three game modes in Beasts of Bermuda.

In Free Roam game mode the player selects a creature of choice and spawns into the world as a juvenile of that species. They must survive and gradually grow larger over time. As growth accumulates, they also earn talents, which can be spent to enhance different aspects of your creature's capabilities. In this mode growth is slower but resource management is easier.
In Life Cycle game mode the player selects a creature and spawns into the world as a juvenile of that species. You must survive and grow larger in a fast paced growth setting. As growth accumulates, you will earn talents to enhance different aspects of your creature's capabilities. After 1.32 growth you can choose to enter a stage called Gauntlet, where the difficulty of the game increases with growth in the form of food, water, and ailment management. In this mode growth is faster but resource management is harder. Compete on a monthly leaderboard to earn the top growth ranking for your species!
In Combat game mode players are pitted against one another with mechanics that are designed to reward conflict. Servers can use Deathmatch Maps which are smaller with close together spawn locations. The player spawns in as an adult creature of their choice and can accrue more talent points by killing other players and stealing their points. The game mode is endless and uses points and kill/death ratios to show who reigns supreme on the server.

This game feels like walking through the ruins of something that was once alive and then very publicly abandoned. Every aspect of it screams neglect. Skin systems barely function, looking in the direction of a Utah freezes your screen, literally cannot open the achievements menu, and nothing works the way it’s supposed to. The game doesn’t challenge you, it dares you to keep playing despite how often it sabotages itself. What makes it truly infuriating is that you can tell the developer simply stopped caring. Not overwhelmed, not under-resourced, checked out. Updates slowed to a crawl, then became meaningless. Patch notes promise fixes that never materialize, while new bugs pile on top of old ones like a monument to apathy. Long-standing issues are still there, untouched, as if the developers are hoping players will just stop mentioning them. The experience is unstable, unpolished, and deeply disrespectful. Performance tanks in areas that should be trivial to run. Entire features feel unfinished or outright forgotten. It’s not quirky, it’s not charming, it’s broken in ways that actively ruin any chance of fun. Communication from the developer is either nonexistent or painfully hollow. No transparency. No accountability. No acknowledgment that the game is in shambles. Just silence, or worse, marketing pretending everything is fine while the product collapses under its own weight. This isn’t a game being improved over time. It’s a game being left to fester while still being sold. Buying it now feels like paying for a promise that the developer has no intention of keeping. Avoid it. It was abandoned while still broken, and the people responsible clearly moved on long before the players did. Sucks, but that's my answer.

I used to love this game. I used to play it all the time with my friends. It used to be so important to me. I can’t anymore. I can’t do this. The staff consists only of people who will swallow each others boots, they’re trigger happy on bans, theyll ban you from their discord just because they think you’re annoying. This game is not worth it. Not even on sale Stay away. The devs are knowingly working with predators. The lead dev believes in eugenics. They do not care for you, you should not care for them. You should not care for their game, because they won’t care for it either.
Honestly it overall is pretty horrible. Firstly the official servers are full of cheaters and the private servers are full of PVE nerds. The compass and icons are awful, the eating and drinking is dull. The graphics are terrible and the movement is like from a phone game. Combat is just jumping and tail riding. This game is made for specific no lifers with no skill other than using glitches and bugs to fight. All the youtube videos I've watched made me buy the game and I was horribly deceived. Especially if you come from playing The Isle, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.
Devs do not care about their player base.
The performance is abhorrent and the playerbase is even worse. The devs seem to be more interested in pumping out crazy skin packs than making any real progress towards finishing the game (or making it at least enjoyable). It's a shame, too, because the concept and some of the gameplay aspects are incredibly intriguing.
Okay, I'm not gonna dog on this game because it isn't actually that bad gameplay wise(at least for now..) What I WILL talk about is it's developers. It is run by a clown and treats its staff like they are running a circus. The primary developer hardly cares about his game and yet he is the SOLE CODER for the game. The game is aight, the staff team is ♥♥♥♥, the community is... eh... I don't have much more I can say.
game made by very bad men
So to preface this, 4800+ hours on this game, so at ONE point, it was actually fun. But like all things, that fun gets sucked out of the game especially when the self-entitlement of Unofficial Server Staff gets called into question, for several servers I've watched staff on Unofficials go from Fun-Loving, Upbeat and generally quite fun to be around, to a sudden switch to Overly sensitive, barking orders, demanding respect (Respect is earned, not given, regardless of what "rules" are in place.) I've spoken at length with probably more than 20 people about this particular topic and I've identified that it's not just me that's experienced this issue, the "Admin" position on any unofficial server is VOLUNTARY, not mandatory, if you're pushing your own agenda in that role, then I'm sorry but you are unfit to fill that role, it's that simple. As for the ACTUAL gameplay experience, for a lot of dinos, it's gone from great, to bad, to good, to horrible, to tolerable at best, the optimization for a game like this is astoundingly poor even on a relatively powerful rig and while the updates that have been rolling out look decent on paper, I can't help but wonder how long you beat a dead horse before you move on to your next project? (Or rewrite the entire game the right way) The base idea of this game is fantastic, but poorly thought out and even more poorly executed, sadly the unofficial servers are a hive of groomers and snowflakes who'll take offense to almost anything and immediately cry "BAN THEM FOREVER" the moment someone disagrees with them, it's a pretty juvenile environment to be totally fair. As for the state of Unofficials in general, they're pretty much all dead apart from ONE server, which I was banned on for "Disrespecting Staff" when I had a bone to pick with how Griefers were handled and how players are barely allowed to defend themselves or their friends, was the ban justified? I'm sure in their eyes it was, but I've since moved past that and on to bigger better things and have finally had time to really sit and think about how my experience with this game really was and I find myself asking why I stayed with it for as long as I did... I guess at one point I had a level of faith in the developers to actually iron out things overall, which for a big part, they did do a lot and that deserves praise in and of itself, but the game in it's current state even now, I still couldn't recommend to anyone who actually wants a game to truly enjoy, outside of playing Skin Roulette and Egg Jail Simulator. Maybe things will improve in the long term, but I honestly don't think they will and while I may keep tabs on future updates to see what actually changes, I personally don't feel like I'll make a return to it anytime in the near future. TLDR: Community is caged and defensive, incapable of accepting hard truths. Graphics CAN look great but only for Screenshot Purposes, not long term play. Unofficial Servers are swarming with self-entitlement and abuse of power positions. There's just better games out there these days that perform so much better and typically achieve the goal they set out to achieve. Overall? 1/10
i am eepy, will write when i have my thoughts in order. but for now if you are looking to play a dino game, please dont support these devs. game is buggy, and the devs are turning it into a bonfire.
In all my years of playing this game, there has always been toxicity in nearly any game involving PvP which is normal, I've racked up 6,327 hours in this game, I've dealt with my fair share of toxicity from people as well. Though the game isn't what it used to be, the Dev team have become very biased towards their player base and aggressive as well in ways involving words taken down posts, comments, and even banning player's who do not agree with them or state the facts of the game. We all know gaming and coding is very difficult and its hard to please everyone, but with things surfacing involving Zoophillia artwork and beastiality. There was even a discord server created for this with members of the Dev team on it, like I mentioned already "Toxic favoritism, unprofessional behavior in regards of negative reviews (to which mine will most likely be deleted and reported as the Dev/owner Predatoria has done before to other negative reviewers) and the earlier mention of beastiality and zoophillia artwork in a discord server. I truly loved this game at a point, and I hate to see the downfall of this, it is simply not what it used to be, along with harboring special skins that even previous members a very selected few do not play the game any more most likely due to those following reasons. There is a X thread posted with all the evidence as well and I honestly am disgusted as someone who has special skins and calls and abilities to gain and do things, has partook in this disgusting behavior. I can not even say with a heavy heart that I won't be continuing to play the game due to the heavy amount of evidence, multiple server owner's, revealing everything to the public, this game is no longer really safe to even remotely to enjoy and the game has been dying for a while now. In my 6,327 hours of playing, I've never been more disappointed in a game Dev team and the owner disrespecting its community members, and blatantly telling them things such as "Sucks but thats our answer" "♥♥♥♥ you all" when they do not want to fix things as easy as doing a roll back for official servers due to something that caused players to lose their skins and special skins completely. There is many more to it as well but this is where I stand at currently and probably for a while.
