About

Beasts of Bermuda is a multiplayer survival game in which the player is a dinosaur or other prehistoric creature. A player can take the role of flyers, swimmers, herbivores, carnivores, and semi-aquatic creatures that fulfill different niches in the ecosystem. No matter what the player chooses to be, the objective of the game is to survive and grow up on the islands of Bermuda by using their particular creature's abilities. Predation from other players as well as intense environmental events are the antagonistic forces in the game the player must survive against.
There are currently three game modes in Beasts of Bermuda.

In Free Roam game mode the player selects a creature of choice and spawns into the world as a juvenile of that species. They must survive and gradually grow larger over time. As growth accumulates, they also earn talents, which can be spent to enhance different aspects of your creature's capabilities. In this mode growth is slower but resource management is easier.
In Life Cycle game mode the player selects a creature and spawns into the world as a juvenile of that species. You must survive and grow larger in a fast paced growth setting. As growth accumulates, you will earn talents to enhance different aspects of your creature's capabilities. After 1.32 growth you can choose to enter a stage called Gauntlet, where the difficulty of the game increases with growth in the form of food, water, and ailment management. In this mode growth is faster but resource management is harder. Compete on a monthly leaderboard to earn the top growth ranking for your species!
In Combat game mode players are pitted against one another with mechanics that are designed to reward conflict. Servers can use Deathmatch Maps which are smaller with close together spawn locations. The player spawns in as an adult creature of their choice and can accrue more talent points by killing other players and stealing their points. The game mode is endless and uses points and kill/death ratios to show who reigns supreme on the server.

i want to like this game but the only server (community, not official) i've ever played on is *dead and opening a server for Path of Titans. RIP to all that time wasted, as dinos aren't transferrable between servers. community is seething and toxic and if you're not in a group, you'd better be 4.0 or higher to compete with everyone's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ alt accounts they sit on all day that guarantees they'll be larger than you. i can't even stomach trying another server out
If you love mixpackers, hackers, and people who cry about the smallest thing in global chat def give it a try :)

Eu gostei muito, mas eu gostaria mais se tivesse um modo solo com bots.
The concept of this game is exciting, the mechanics are deep and novel when compared to other "dino sims", the community is passionate (which some might refer to as "toxic"), and the designs are beautiful. At a technical level, though, this game is a bit of a mess. The servers crash every other day, there's a bit of desync and overall jankiness, and bugs are present. It's also not well optimized. Despite the game's age and looks, my specs couldn't consistently pull 120fps on 1080p on Highs. From what I've read around and my own experience, I can say that regardless of your specs, chances are you'll be frustrated by how the game runs and how much of a resource hog it is. Additionally, the game has a steepish learning curve - and that's fine. The game punishes you in often cruel ways, yes. I'm perfectly comfortable with all of that. However, know that everything about this game is a knowledge check, and that this knowledge will often betray you. This is informational/anecdotal for the most part: your dino might look bigger, stronger, faster, etc.; it's not that simple. In fact, you should just assume your dino is probably weaker for the first couple dozen hours (maybe more). But then you get to learning the game, and you might've read somewhere that your dino should at least generally counter that other specific species; it's not that simple. Growth being infinite, you might be up against a really old, really strong, tanky dino. What's more, being at a sudden, tremendous disadvantage is a matter of this or that specific dino being online at any given time, especially if you're up against groups - and oh, you will be against groups. Your knowledge might amount to absolutely nothing if the matchup is unavoidable and/or unwinnable. BoB might be an exciting and genuinely riveting experience for a while, in how much there is to learn that you can successfully use to extend your runs, how cool it is to patrol the map with your fellow megaraptors, how rewarding it feels when you survive past a given growth threshold, or simply pull off the absolute coolest, most immersive hunt. But the game will betray you. You will lose a dino to a server issue, you'll lose a dino to clipping through the map, and you'll lose a dino to an ambush you couldn't have seen coming (not realistically). Eventually, you'll find that losing your dinos to weak combat mechanics is also not a great feeling. Ultimately, you will lose a ton of dinos to inexperience too - the ultimate culprit - and you'll keep wanting to come back. But everything else won't ever feel fairer. I believe BoB is a product of love by Sastrei Studios, but this is a rough love. The game could and should run better at this point. It should feel fairer. It should live up to the outstanding promises it makes with how deep it actually is. In my humble opinion, it doesn't. A warning: the official servers follow rules that are not ever, not once conveyed to you in any way within the boundaries of the game client, unless someone explains them to you in chat. I learned them early and had no issues, but I'm aware that even as a new player, you might find yourself at the end of someone's bad mood and get banned for i.e. third-partying an ongoing fight between 2 species that don't match yours (you can't). This "code of honor"-type ruleset I found interesting and cool, but I also have a mind to find it absurd that the player is never told about it when it can get them banned. I will add that this ruleset is often exploited without repercussion by the veterans. So I'm done with this game for now, and I may or may not return. I will still recommend it. For a while there, I ran around with my megaraptor buddies, and it was fun. Who knows, you might end up tolerating the flaws better than I did.
Построили с мужем гнездо. Было забавно наблюдать, как двадцатилетний Даня высиживает яйца. Рекомендую для улучшения семейных отношений
Well I tried this game out and I can honestly say it has a few bugs quite a few way more than Day of Dragons I'm not even sure what the company was thinking people can invite you to but God forbid you don't click the invite fast enough there's really no way or a list where you can see the invites not to mention the player base is terrible they offer no help whatsoever If you're new they basically just kill you off as often as they can never bothering to teach you how to play the game that they love so much And I have to say it this way because when players really love a game like they do in Day of Dragons they actually take the time to teach you to help you so that you can also enjoy the game the way that they do buyer beware this game is extremely toxic the player base will not help you at all they're very rude and they like to use submissive calls to trick you so that they can then kill you Then they tell you that this is a reportable But again How do you report somebody when there's no name over their head and you don't know who killed you because of it I'll be honest this game has been out in Early Access 2018 The Isle a game that has been in Early Access way longer has way more players and they're way nicer It's the same for Day of Dragons The point I'm trying to make is the player base is what makes the game not the game if the developers of Beast of Bermuda are going to allow their game to remain unmonitored and allow people to basically break their game by camping key points where you have to bring these dumb little idols These shrines that they camp religiously You basically as a new player will never get a benefit out of this game and most players are already set in their ways and won't bother to help a new player I have never had such a bad experience in a game as I did in this one I wish Steam would just give me back my money because of that but unfortunately with their two hour play limit to get a refund it's impossible I'm basically stuck with this piece of crap Like I said the game has a lot of glitches but the real problem are the nasty attitudes of the players
