The stronger your Link grows, the more power you command…and the more it threatens to consume you.

I played this game on the Xbox ROG Ally X. I really love the idea of this game and exactly what they provided to give us that old-school rampage 2026 style fun. The problem was my game had a maximum of 18 fps and frame gen was automatically on so when I turned it off, the FPS went down to 8. It was just completely unplayable for me, but I still played through the 18 FPS for 30 minutes to see what the potential of the game was about. I have no idea why they don’t give us the build that they used from the video that they have on the store. It kind of sucks seeing video gameplay thinking that that’s what you’re gonna play and as soon as you download the game, you get rug pulled. As far as handheld go, if you’re planning on playing this, you will be disappointed therefore I cannot recommend this game in it’s current state.

love the game it quite alot of fun, still need some work on the gameplay but the game dev did a great job so far!!!!!
Personally, I think this game is amazing. I was really looking for a fun Godzilla simulator and BeastLink is hitting all the right buttons. It's early access, so yeah, there is a little jank, but it's nothing that ruins the fun or hinders gameplay. It's incredibly fun to run around the world as a human and see these massive beasts fighting in the background (or right on top of you), to drive around, to fly as a jet, and, of course, to smash everything apart with whatever beast you happen to be playing as. My *only* complaint, is that the beasts animations do feel a little sluggish, and I wish they moved just a bit quicker. I understand why the developers wanted them to look like they do, watching footage, it makes the beasts look huge and powerful, but when you're actually playing, it makes it feel like control input delay. Though, with that *SINGULAR* negative out of the way, I really don't think I've had this much fun in an early access game since BG3. This has the potential to be one of the most fun games ever made. I'm begging anyone who is reading this, and considering buying the game... BUY IT! From what I've read, these guys are a very small, passionate, and driven team who want to make an incredible game, and are self financing the whole thing, so every purchase will help to make this game the best it can possibly be! Buy it and support creators! Please purchase, and support this game!
awfully optimised yet somehow manages to feel like a mobile game
I hate to give it a negative review but it need time to bake. it feels like a pre alpha build at this moment. The concept and potential is good, but the controls are a bit floaty, delayed, some inputs feel like they don't even go through. Also, helicopters are basically worthless cause if anything locks on to you just accept your fate, your relatively slow and a thrown projectile will curve to hit you. being ragdoll launched in a tank is good laughs but for now I would just stick with EDF if you want that. I also was in a Kaiju fight and suddenly I was in space. don't know where the map or enemy was. all I did was throw a punch while he was down. I was also getting low fps at times but that's to be expected with buildings being destroyed so I'm not to mad about that. although my rig is decent. I hope the devs continue to work on it and not be discouraged by the negative reviews because if they fix it up it could become a really fun Sandbox Kaiju game.
Game is good. Destruction is epic. Gameplay needs a bit of polishing!
This is kind of difficult because honestly, this is EARLY ACCESS. Lately games have been coming out "complete" "full releases" in this unfinished state. The foundation is there. I can definitely see this game being genuinely fun and entertaining. Currently the biggest Kaiju in the room is performance. Yikes. This game jitters, lags, stutters and that's before you start destroying buildings. With that being said, I can't tell if all the Kaiju are THAT slow or if they're slow on top of the stuttering. Either way, the Kaiju NEED to move faster. EVERY action with the kaiju feels like a loading screen. If you have ever played THE HUNT showdown, every action feels like you're completely reloading a weapon but you can't cancel. So slow with certain animations I cant tell if my game froze. Gameplay on the ground as a soldier/ person is okay. Its like Earth Defense Force (Iron rain to be specific) EXCEPT it's JANK. Now, if the performance is fixed, it would be a billion times more enjoyable. If they added more things to interact with as a human, it would be perfect. Waves of enemies, silly/ fun vehicles, mini bosses? Maybe some objectives like capture and hold. The game has a LOT of potential. HOPEFULLY they dont just drop it.
