Battle Chasers: Nightwar

Un juego chulísimo y aunque no me lo pasé aún se me hizo un poco largo lo que jugué, es la única pega que le pondría. Por lo demás es un gran juego y viene de la mano de Joe Madureira, dibujante y artista de los Darksiders y se nota mucho, también tiene un toque World of Warcraft el mundo del juego, pero en realidad se trata de un RPG por turnos muy chulo. Muy recomendado, aunque siempre intento comprar en rebajas.

Will not recommend this or any title that Airship Syndicate touches with how they have handled Founder Packages for Wayfinder. They have told customers in discord to contact steam for refunds and steam has instructed those customers that they haven't received any directives/information from the developer on how to handle refunds.

O estilo de arte me chamou a atenção e até que o jogo foi legal.

Classic turn based RPG combat with Joe Madureira's (Battle Chasers creator) involvement in the game. The game is beautiful, although I don't really like the blur effect in dungeons. As there are six characters it would've been great that some dungeons had one mandatory character or the final one had two paths forcing to raise all of them to max. I maxed them in the first playthrough, but didn't bother on NG+. Also, the final boss is cool as a semi-boss, but it's underwhelming in it's own. After that fight it would've been cool to fight [spoiler]C'drall or Verus[/spoiler]. Pro tip: You want to complete the fishiary in the first playthrough, to be able to get it's reward again as soon as possible on NG+.

This was the most fun Ive had in a long time for not a ton of money. Old school with nice atmosphere, least amount of solveable riddles and fun combat. Me like! Go try!

Love the characters and story but character progression was too slow with minimal choices leading to very repetitive combat. Really needs an animation speed increase option. Also note the Nexus mod for inactive team members gaining experience sounds necessary if you plan to switch characters (didn't get far enough to experience). Refunded at the 2 hour mark. Might be great if you're not a parent with very limited gaming time like me.

Great game. Nice story, characters and fight system. Overworld exploration can be boring but overall highly recommended.

At first glance this game seem short and poorly balanced. That was at least until I realized that the developers seem to expect you to go through each of the dungeons multiple times. Each dungeon has multiple tiers of difficulty and if you try to go straight from one area to the next you will find yourself under leveled. Some of the combat choices seem odd as well with most of the skills seeming to favor doing damage over time versus direct damage. Once you get the hang of combat though it's a fun game and absolutely beautiful artwork as well.
