Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 29.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 35/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A historia é bem interessante.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

One of the best batman games to ever be created and series to boot
Genuinely and objectively one of the best games of all time. If you have a favorite superhero game, it's because of this game. If you have a favorite stealth game, it's because of this game (and mgs and splinter cell). If you like a game that has freeflow combat (sleeping dogs, spider-man, ghost of tsushima, etc) thank this game. While I like many games over this one, like its sequel, gaming would not be the same without this masterpiece. That's literally just objective fact. It's up there with Mario 64, Resident Evil 4 OG, Sonic Adventure, and Ocarina of Time with how influential it is. The actual gameplay is noticeably rougher than the standard today, but it's still so enjoyable. Just learn the fundamentals, and you'll be golden. The graphics are also really good for 2009. And the atmosphere is genuinely unlike anything else in the superhero genre, besides maybe Web of Shadows. And the story feels likes you're watching an episode from the animated series, and you might genuinely get scared sometimes. The game is just good, and the sequels are even better. Whether it's $20 or $8 on sale, it's worth it, I promise you. Though I do recommend waiting for the sale, since you can usually get the other arkham games for around $20 bucks altogether. The game is also a great starting point if you want to get into the superhero genre as a whole. It introduces characters and teaches you the basics about them without spending too much time on it. It also won't force you to learn about most of them if you don't care, but I highly suggest you pay at least a crumb of attention to the various character bios if you're in anyway interested in Batman lore. As of writing this review, I only have 21 hours, but that's only on PC. I have like 200 hours on Xbox, and I've beaten this game probably like 15 times at least. It's also just a good game to speedrun if you know enough about it, I've beaten it in one sitting multiple times. Just a great game, definitely a 10/10.
Overall Score: 8/10

Gamechanger.

The Good

Gameplay: The Freeflow combat system was a total game-changer, and the stealth mechanics are spot on. It's incredibly satisfying and fun to fight your way through rooms.
Visuals & Art Style: The gloomy art style perfectly captures the creepy, oppressive essence of Arkham Asylum. The graphics definitely hold that classic early 2010s era look.
Audio: The sound design is punchy—when you land a hit on an enemy, you really feel it.
Writing: The narrative is strong and the villains are exceptionally well-written (especially the Joker), which is something modern gaming often lacks.
Vibe: The atmosphere nails the sinister mood through brilliant environment design and menacing rogues.
The Villains: Man, they are unapologetically evil.
Batman: You actually *feel* like Batman.

The Bad

Clunkiness: There are moments where combat feels like it could have been smoother. You can tell the developers were still experimenting with the mechanics here, leaving some room for improvement.
Design Frustrations: The game feels fairly linear and forces a lot of backtracking. I wished for a few more gadgets early on, as progression feels quite restrictive until reaching the mid-game. Additionally, some boss fights could have been better, and the main story wraps up before you know it.
Riddler Trophies: Quality over quantity, please! There are 240 collectibles scattered across the map. While not entirely terrible, hunting down every single one becomes a mind-numbing task (though maybe that was Riddler's point).
Gliding: Although this is a great addition, it would've been much better if we have some other options to it, other than gliding down.

Game shows great potential.
ottimo inizio di una grande saga. Un po'acerbo in confronto ai sequel, ma comunque una bomba che ogni videogiocatore dovrebbe provare almeno una volta
A good change from the classic batman and his villains (basically absolute universe before the absolute universe) Good mixture of action, exploration and "parkour", even if the latter is mostly grappling and doing metroidvania ♥♥♥♥ five times over just to be sure you didn't forget something The story is pretty boring, the execution is not and the tapes plus the riddles are where actual story lies, as it's 100 times more interesting to hear the snippets of interviews, than it's to listen to Joker say "haha I'm bad Bats haha I'm into BDSM but Harley doesn't wanna go to the gym that much and Bane isn't like that haha so I need you to do me a favor haha barely anyone will die anyway, at least by my hands, I'm just horny haha" for the millionth time in the multiverse... I don't blame him though, I'd ask the same of Batman or Bruce, depending on the time of the day The fights could be of bigger consequence, because maybe half of them have actuall conclusion and the rest is vague or shown to mean nothing as they will lead to other encounters in later Arkham games (I guess) and with Batman's rogue gallery, I don't think we need that (maybe it will be one of those pleasant surprises (most likely not))
