I remembered this game being charming, and loving the narrator. Was gonna play Hades, but decided to finish this instead. Good call. This is a really good game. Great game play loop, not really a rogue like but its own thing. Cool set up, good build out combinations, rewarding game play, and pretty challenging but fair. Nothing too insane. Great game play, cool art direction, great narrator and good sound track.
Phenomenal game. Art and music are simply beautiful, and Logan Cunningham gives a great performance as the ever-present narrator. Gameplay smooth and customizable to a large extent in-game. Story was also sweet (at least, the ending I chose... there are others).

the influences on hades are really clear but the storytelling in this is unique and really nice, as is the segmented worldbuilding, the graphics are really pretty and high saturation also which is fun

A really nice, short action game with beautiful presentation and good story
One of the greatest game soundtracks mixed with some great storytelling~ Always brings me back for a nostalgia playthrough from time to time and every time it does it's worth it Would recommend/10
