In BARDA, it won't be your sword that saves you. It's how you pack your bag. But hunger, fatigue and madness will take up space! Do your best as you climb an ever-changing mountain to spread the ashes of your grandfather, improve your base camp, and try again.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Help Thȫmi reach the mountain’s summit and honor the final promise he made to his grandpa: to scatter his ashes to the wind from the highest peak of the highest mountain.
To reach the top, Thȫmi must gather tools and resources at every stop along his journey. But space is limited, and inventory management is key to overcoming the challenges ahead. With over 140 unique items of different sizes and effects, carefully organize your backpack and decide what is worth carrying to survive the climb.
As Thȫmi gathers new tools and makes his way toward the summit, he'll journey through breathtaking landscapes—from lush jungles and raging volcanoes to frozen mountain passes. Though the path is a lonely one, friendly mountain dwellers can offer valuable services and assistance along the way.
Throughout the ascent, hunger, fatigue, and madness will constantly affect both Thȫmi and the items in his backpack. Massive dragons, terrifying trolls, and sneaky goblins will stand in his way. Fortunately, combat isn't the only solution. Use your items wisely as they may be the key to your survival.
Each expedition unlocks new items, tools, and companions to aid future climbs. The journey doesn't end once your grandpa's wish has been fulfilled. No two ascents are the same, and neither is Thȫmi.

I won't refund because i believe that small indie gems like this deserve the players' support (besides, the game costs only 9$ ...). That being said, content is just way too slim and that's doing a disservice to the game. There's a lot of upgrades and items that most players will never interact with, just because the game is over so quickly. I finished the story first try on the demo build, then purchased the full game to see what else is available, and after losing a run, finished the story again. So in the span of only 2 hours (1 on the demo, 1 on the full build), i did 3 runs, 2 of which went all the way to the end. Sure, there's the infinite weekly challenge, but honestly, i believe the game would greatly benefit from a content update that would add new biomes, maybe some with higher difficulty. I would gladly spend more time on things that requires more tries, and make metaprogression actually useful (again, at the moment, you can easily finish the game without purchasing any of the upgrades, so it doesn't really feel like a "roguelite" in that sense). The music is great, the art is great, the core gameplay is nice, the item variety is good, the metaprogression system is robust, ... everything is there for the player to sink dozens of hours into the game, except for content. So TLDR : Great little gem, would definitely recommend it just because you can tell a lot of effort went into it, but held back by its lack of content.

SchrodingerKitten ~ Indies Together
As someone who covered BARDA during both its demo phase and its Early Access journey, I've had the chance to watch this game grow step by step—and seeing where it has arrived with its 1.0 release is honestly incredible. First of all, I want to highlight something that makes me especially proud: BARDA is made by a French development team, and it's genuinely inspiring to see so much talent and creativity on display. The indie scene is full of passionate developers, and BARDA is a fantastic example of what can happen when a team fully commits to a unique vision. The evolution of the game has been remarkable. From the early versions I played to the polished experience available today, the amount of work, refinement, and care put into every update is obvious. The developers didn't just add content—they continuously improved the overall experience, resulting in a game that feels complete, confident, and incredibly well-crafted. What makes BARDA stand out is its ability to innovate while remaining relaxing and enjoyable to play. It takes familiar roguelike and inventory-management concepts and transforms them into something fresh, satisfying, and uniquely its own. Few indie games manage to carve out such a distinct identity. There's also something incredibly rewarding about seeing an independent project evolve over time and successfully reach its full potential. Having followed this journey from the demo to version 1.0, I can confidently say that the final result exceeded my expectations. A huge congratulations to the entire team for creating such a beautiful, innovative, and relaxing indie experience. Seeing the game reach this point has been a pleasure, and I can't wait to see what these talented developers create next.
I would say this game was very fun! It's quite RNG heavy, but decision-making plays a HUGE part in whether you succeed or not. It's not all down to luck. Just completed my first run ~2 hours of gameplay. Got a good mountain seed and had great equipment for the coming nodes. Got to a huge ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dragon right next to the end and realized I could just teleport past it with a scroll I held on to! Delivered the ashes and brought grandpa to the summit! <3 It was a lovely game and a good time! The music is good. Different settings and biomes to conquer each with their own environmental difficulties. Balancing status ailments and hunger, which you WILL have to manage. Makes for a challenging time but very rewarding!
