Slow, paced, yet engaging city builder. Do you want to guide a small settlement of people through harsh winters? Direct resource production, improve their living situation, begin trading and expanding? Well that's the whole game. Few, if any, sudden events that require spikes in attention. The game is vibes and vibes are chill. Oh, and the mods. Play a few rounds and get acquainted with it. Hit a point of feeling like you want more - then explore the modding community. Within and without steam. It's just more of the same - and if you like it, same is what you want.

Honestly, I have kept coming back to this game for *YEARS* because of how good it is. You can play this game actively invested in the individual lives of the townfolk, or nearly-hands-off with the occasional prod in the right direction. It's a peaceful game that you can lose yourself in; become the mayor of your little hamlet and watch your people go about their daily lives. Basically a SimCity of sorts for a Medieval-esque town.

been a few years but ive just got back into this game! runs great on my non-gaming mini pc, so id bet it would run on just abt anything with no problem!

Game is super actually pretty top teir especially with the mod support I had my doubts due to this game being super old but it holds up very well If you like Simcity, Frostpunk, Urbek, or any other city builder this is definitely the original to those games. I was hooked right away, especially with figuring everything out.
