Fun little game, worth the price especially if it's on sale. music - 10/10
IT'S FUN!!! if you're an expert from other marble rollers like marble it up, monkey ball, etc... it might be a little easy, and a little short. it took me a little over an hour to clear all the content, but i'm a VERY skilled veteran player in the marble game genre. but if not, give it a whirl! was worth the price, if you ask me.
As far as Super Monkey Ball clones/inspired games go, this one doesn't do it as well as Rolled Out does. The physics feel a lot floatier, and way more drifty by comparison (though this became less and less of an issue over time). It also gets really disorienting and confusing when you try to control the camera as well as Orbit (the little robot dude you control). A lot of this game's stage design, however, is very true to Monkey Ball, I can easily imagine playing most of these levels presented as a level pack in SMB, or Rolled Out, and having them fit right in with little or no retooling. At least, it's something I'd certainly like to try. The music is also pretty good. I don't really have any strong feelings towards it beyond that, though. It fits well, and is well composed for the game. Some more things this game does that I really like include: -Built in joystick visuals above the map -120hz physics mode (makes extremely fast moving objects affect you in way less wacky ways) -No lives, just score reduction upon falling out I enjoyed myself while playing this. You could certainly spend 10 bucks in many worse ways, that's for sure.

I'd LIKE to say Decent Monkey Ball clone, but the controls, momentum and physics all feel off to me tbh. Hard to get used to. Some pretty decent ideas in level design however.
One of the best Super Monkey Ball-likes I've played.
The best monkey ball game on steam.
Ballygon faithfully captures both the fun and frustration of Super Monkey Ball. Smooth controls leave no doubt in my mind that my (numerous) mistakes are my own. The stage design is super creative as well, with a hint of that signature SMB sadism that makes you occasionally think "how is this even possible?" If I had one wish, it would be for a quick-save option to save progress in the middle of a run so that the game would be easier to pick up and put down. The later groups of levels can get quite long, particularly on the first attempt where the stages are still being learned, and I would appreciate being able to take a break when I get stuck on a difficult stage. Finally, the stellar soundtrack deserves a shoutout. As if it wasn't impressive enough on its own, imagine my delight when I found out that it was composed entirely on KORG DSN-12 (for 3DS), DS-10 PLUS (for DS), and KORG Gadget! A soundtrack release on Steam would be an instant buy for me, as I would love to support the game further.
Any fan of classic Monkey Ball should pick this up. Even at full price this is a good buy
After a lot of deliberation, I just don't think that this game is that great. While the mechanical interaction of the ball in the world is great, the level design is meh at best, and the token system is frankly absurd, locking multiple UI options behind points. It could get better, but as of right now, it's not worth it.
I'm LOVING this so far! It controls so well and it's really fun! Some of the mechanics are really clever, makes it really interesting. The music is also really good, I'm grooving to it the whole time I'm playing!
