명불허전. 과거의 명성이 어찌 만들어졌는지 느낄 수 있는 게임이었습니다. 다만 결국 과거작은 과거작이라는 한계도 명백하게 느꼈습니다. 내 다른건 다 참고 플레이 할 수 있는데 이동 인공지능 시발 이건 개노답입니다 아 진짜 쓰다보니까 또 화딱지나네 차라리 스타 용기병이 더 길 잘 찾겠다 시불놈들아 왜 아무것도 없는 맨땅에서 니들끼리 서로 길 길 거리면서 비비고 자빠져 있냐고 또한 전투가 너무 피곤한감이 없잖아 있어요 적들의 CC기가 정말 강력해서 매 전투마다 그에 대한 대응을 해야하는데 초중반엔 중요한 큰 전투 정도만 대응하고 전투 들어가면 되지만 후반에 돌입하면 매 전투마다 대응을 해놓지 않음 게임이 터지기 때문에 템포도 느려지고 굉장히 피곤하네요 하지만 이러니 저러니 해도 깊이있는 스토리와 게임성은 확실히 느낄 수 있었습니다.
Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition remains one of the great classic RPGs, especially for players who enjoy deep and complex RPG systems. The game combines exploration, character building, spell preparation, party management, and tactical combat in a way that rewards players who pay close attention to the options available to them. Choices involving class, attributes, equipment, and abilities make a real difference, and understanding the game's rules can be a major advantage throughout the adventure. Another major strength is the freedom to explore and approach situations in different ways. This is not an RPG that simply takes the player from one combat encounter to the next; there is plenty of room for exploration, interaction, and planning. Great game, really recommend playing the first one before jumping into this. Played with 2 mods, this one adds a new and improved (imo) UI which makes managing items between party members a lot easier: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/87209/mod-infinity-ui-v1-27 Also has 4 different themes, I personally really liked the dragonspear one. For me it had a bug where I couldn't access the inventory of the party member who was in the bottom but just move them 1 space up when you need to sort their inventory, wasn't a huge deal This one adds a bunch of cheats and Qol: https://www.gibberlings3.net/subpages/tweaks/cheats/ You can edit and change a lot of things, making the game easier or just a bit more convenient. I only used the faster movement and cast speed outside combat (50% feels nice) and making it so you have a 100% chance to learn a spell and increased ammunition stack size. Wouldn't be a proper baldurs gate review without mentioning beamdog tho. Once again they added some absolute ♥♥♥♥ companions with terrible writing and voice acting. And just like the first game, they're shoved down your throat. Luckily you can kill them and never have to see them again. They're also still updating the game with useless stuff which breaks a lot of mods every time. How hard is it to not add your own ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stain on a classic...
