I seriously don't understand why people find the Baldur's Gate series so enjoyable. Nothing but save, try, attempt, save again, over and over. It is one of the most overhyped games out there. I get the nostalgia of D&D, but people are just lying to themselves. The game is unplayable due to the frustration. The entire series. Who has fun trying a different strategy five or ten times??? And hitting pause every ten feet is not my idea of a great game.

Mi videojuego favorito. Me lo he terminado ya unas cuantas veces a lo largo de los años. La ambientación es magia potagia y la banda sonora de otro mundo. Siento envidia por la gente que lo está jugando por primera vez... todavía recuerdo la emoción del primer enfrentamiento con un dragón, el que haya jugado en su época entiende lo que digo, es algo indescriptible. Al igual que la primera parte o el Icewind Dale la jugabilidad basada en la 2ª edición de AD&D. Como siempre digo es la mejor forma de plasmar en videojuego una partida de Dragones y Mazmorras, es que te absorbe. Una genialidad como está pensado todo, las tropecientas quests secundarias que ni sabes en qué orden abordar, exploración, estrategia, secretos, items mágicos, NPCs con su propia historia, etc. en cada detalle sientes que es un mundo que está VIVO a unos niveles que incluso a muchos juegos actuales les cuesta conseguir Vuelvo a decir que es mi videojuego favorito de todos los tiempos, a día de hoy ningún otro ha sido capaz de sustituirle. De todas las reseñas que he hecho en Steam creo que esta es la única que tiene la máxima puntuación, un 10 como una catedral. Es leyenda. Esta ha sido mi reseña y al que no le guste que le den. 10/10
A dated game that's not for everyone, but I'd be damned if I didn't love Jon Irenicus. I had a ton of fun with this game despite the clunkiness and lack of polish (comparative to modern day games).
