I would hate to ruin the perfect 100% score this game has (as of writing this review on the 3rd of june 2025) with a negative review and trust me, i won't. But such a high score does set a precedent that garners some expectations, unfortunately those expectations weren't met for me. It's not that i hated the game, not at all, it had a lot of charm and heart but i wasn't blown away by it either. The thing bahamut and the waqwaq tree does the best is the movement, which is important in an underwater game. Some games really stumble here but bahamut generally controled very well with a great 'flow'. The levels also had an equally good flow to them but there weren't any puzzles to really challenge your grey matter. The mechanics were interesting but i feel they could have been pushed a bit further. The visuals were pretty for the most part but not jawdroppingly gorgeous either, same for the music which was just okay unfortunately. The game did tell a cool story based on folklore, and while i won't pretend it wasn't predictable i do love learning from other cultures so in that sense the game is worth it imo. It's also relatively cheap so not the biggest investment on that front. The only major area of improvement is that the text autoplays, something that can be quite bothersome. If the game could use any change it'd be that as i sometimes could not read the dialogue in time... Other than that it was a good enough, albeit slightly generic game.

a visually beautiful game, but with poor and boring gameplay, which is frustrating considering the experience could have been (harder , more enjoyable, and more varied) i wish the idea of swimming with the character had been used in a more fun way. I hope to see improvement in future games. "i play 18 hours but in ofline mode"
An unremarkable, cute short exploration game with a fair price-point. Good luck on your next work, Starvania.
A relaxing and atmospheric game with smooth controls, beautiful art, and great sound design. While I haven't progressed too far yet, it's clear there's more depth waiting to unfold. I believe anyone who appreciates storytelling and calm-paced gameplay would find something to love here. That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement: - There's no option to customize the controls. Having to press "left shift" repeatedly to move faster becomes uncomfortable over time. - No autosave, I had to restart my progress after the game closed unexpectedly. - The Arabic voice-over feels overly deep and unnatural at times, and there are some noticeable inaccuracies in Arabic spelling. Despite these issues, the game has potential and left a positive impression overall. * Note: I don't usually play games like this
Calm and Relaxing underwater gameplay.
I don't play many indie games but this is one of the best indie games I have ever tried for sure! The whole idea of mixing the Arabic culture and legend with the gaming industry is just AMAZING. I really recommend it to all indie-games players and all the players that wants to try indie games. It is short and worth every penny I paid. Thank you Starvania for this masterpiece.
2 hours full of fun and puzzles ,i loved each part of it , except a single issue which is the automatic cut-scenes , rather than that 10-10 game
Beautiful game. Great little story. Took me about 4 hours to complete because my ability to not survive is unmatched haha. Definitely recommend for a chill narrative game with a beautiful message.
Beautiful game, visually stunning, and quite an interesting story.
