[h1] I started to despise the game after level 5, it should've stopped there. [/h1] Finished and completed the whole game. First few worlds are enjoyable but then becomes massively difficult for no reason (and with no hint system without mods, you either have to spend 3 hours on each level, look up hints with outside resources or just look up the solution). The level names are completely unrelated to the solution 99% of the time, why aren't they used as a hint? The game became unenjoyable after level 5. It's such a shame too because the puzzles after you beat the main world is very cool. [spoiler]One of the last main levels, you get to use the 'Level' tag, meaning you can eventually escape the confines of the main world. Travelling to secret levels and entire worlds which are a puzzle themselves which is actually really cool, but this is only after you slog a lot of levels which are, let's be honest, a lot harder for no reason. [/spoiler] and b4 people say "skill issue duuuh just get better just spend 10 hours on a single level you'll figure it out", puzzle games are inherently flawed for where looking up the solution is just straight up less time-consuming compared to other genres. I'd rather just get the game over-and-done with the money I spent on it once I no longer enjoy it. The community of it is very arrogant too if you DARE look up a solution for a level you just can't be bothered solving. The game isn't above you, you're above the game. The biggest flaw of this game is that most of the solutions or info you learn from a level never applies to others, meaning that "learning the game" is kind of pointless. Every solution is restricted to that singular level. The info you learn from previous levels either won't apply or suddenly there's a new rule that prevents it. It's not fun having to re-learn the whole formula for a game about being literal with rules. This game is in desperate need of an in-game hint system, even the developer said they were going to add it, but considering they recently made their last update to the game, it's definitely not coming any time soon. If you enjoy this type of game where you bang your head across the wall for 80% of levels for a solution that sometimes doesn't make sense to anyone BUT the developer? Go wild. Some of the user-made levels are pretty cool though. I atleast enjoyed my time with worlds 1,2, 3, 4. Also the game is too long, it's bloated with a lot of levels which is fine, but since some levels expect you to spend upwards of an hour or more on it. Yeah I'd rather just get the game done atp.
