In the middle of each nation's normal training routine, a Joint Military Exercise was enacted. A select few from each nation were chosen to participate in this rigorous event. But, how did this event come to be? Are there other ulterior motives at play?

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is one of those games that I'm afraid my words won't properly convey my feelings. In truth, I like this game, it did what I hoped it'd do when I bought it, and I'll likely even finish the story. I wanted to say all this up front because I suspect things will go downfast fast in this review. Azur Lane: Crosswave is a spin-off of a mobile series about "Ship Girls" (Anime Waifu that are also historical warships). I've not played the game, but I've always enjoyed the concept. You recruit an army of shipgirls, build your ultimate fleet and fight against evil alien/monster/things (i don't actually know) called The Siren. All the nations of the world send their representatives to what they think is joint training, a chance to compete with one another and build alliances. But the player's nation knows that its just an excuse to gather mysterious cubes that the Siren seem to want. I talk like the plot matters... but its consists far more of silly slice of life events. That's not a complaint, its cute, charming and does what it needs to. Alot of reviews complain that this is more Visual Novel than game... and they aren't wrong. Where they get it wrong is that... that's the best part of the game. I don't think I've ever felt "I wish this played more like a mobile game" but here we are. Lets keep focusing on the positive for now with the ship formations. You build a team of 3 combat ships, and 3 support ships. There's loads of shipgirls to choose from, a good supplies of weapons and armor to choose, cool formation bonuses, and loads of other genuinely cool customization. It really feels like the good side of a mobile game where you have loads to play with but you can unlock it through reasonable experiences. But this all falls apart with the gameplay. Each mission has you spawn into a small flat square of water... dealing with waves of ship girls and actual ships. You circle around dodging fire and tapping the shoot buttons for about two minutes. There's a small variety of objectives... but considering its always a flat square with no islands or modifiers... there's never any combat depth. The combat sucks. And things get worse from here. It uses the mobile game "Power Level" comparing the strength of your ships to the enemy ships. But unlike a mobile game, they don't tell you the strength of the enemy party. You'll run through 3 missions in a row steamrolling the enemy and then hit a wall with a near immortal foe that you JUST defeated. This lack of feedback makes the game feel sloppy. And while formation building is legit awesome... you can't save multiple formations. This becomes a problem because you need to constantly switch up your team because allegiances change in the plot. For one mission, your main party might be on the opposing team and that's cool. But it's also tedius to constantly have to rebuild my "Destroyer Team" and the swap out all 6 ships so that now I'm using my "Battleship Squad". Power levels, multiple formations, easy grind options, unique daily battles for good rewards... these are all staples of a mobile game that this experience is lacking. I find myself wanted to have spent time on fleet building and having a quick automated battle. I feel like I should just install the gacha game because it'd feel more complete. Yet, as I said at the start... I do like this game. I just can't see myself actually recommending it to anyone.
I forgot to write a review for this back when the game released, probably because I was so mad about it. Yeah I mean this is basically a scam lol. $34, and $43 of DLC. What do you get for that price? The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gameplay of the mobile version of the game but in 3D, woooooooooooooooooow, exciting. Even if you're well-off and only want waifus, this is terrible value. Crosswave never got any updates and has like, 5% of the shipgirls the mobile version has, so just install azur lane on your phone (or emulate it if you prefer playing on PC) and you'll get a much better deal
Absolute waste of time and money. I got it through a discounted activation code for like $5 and now I wish I didn't even pay that much. I want to be clear, I play the Azur Lane mobile game a lot and I love it. But even as long as I played Azur Lane, this game is so boring and tedious. They include a ridiculous amount of dialogue, which for an RPG would be okay, but the story is absolutely trash so it just feels like they are trying to bloat the game to increase "play time." And to be fair, I don't blame them for wanting to bloat the game with dialogue, because the gameplay is also no-fun trash. This game feels legitimately soulless. I was trying to finish this game fast to get my money's worth and free up some hard drive space, but just found out you can't even use the ships you own if you're fighting against that ship on the enemy team. So I had to buy Enterprise and use her instead of Akagi, no problem right? Well, now Enterprise is level 1 while my other ships are like level 40, so she instantly dies and I don't know if there is a way to level up your ships in this game outside of battling. And to be completely honest, I don't even care to find out. Uninstalling this garbage right now and playing the real AL on my phone.
