Havent played Tower Defense since GreenTD in WC3. But damn its fun. A lot of content for EA.
We don't do many tower defense games but still were able to understand and enjoy this. Weapons are cool, explosions are big, surviving rounds felt awesome, and huge gross bugs were fun to destroy. Here's our gameplay and review video - https://youtu.be/OhKExZiwx68
Fun little tower defense game with some nice progression.

Cool game
This game hooked me!!! I've played two hours so far, and two things really stand out to me: The map you play on is totally organic, doesn't feel like a "Grid" where you have to place your structures in a few preset spots, as long as you can see the terrain, you can build on it whether it's elevated or not, feels so good and really gets you into strategic thinking! the second thing is the upgrades, there are a few types and it keeps you wanting to pass that next level to see what you can upgrade and buy next; you only start with maybe two types of attack structures, but as you progress, you choose which new types of attack turrets you want to take to battle from that point on, really keeps each subsequent gameplay new and fresh!!!
Tough call. I’d recommend this game to fans of both tower defense and roguelike games, since the combination is fresh and the basic concept is really great. Overall, though, this game is only a 5/10. Unfortunately, this game suffers from some fundamental problems: Balancing: Some upgrades are ridiculously strong, while others are useless or even counterproductive. The same goes for the towers and, above all, for the RNG: Half of the maps are completely unplayable due to the layout of the high ground and resource spots. Bugs: I’ve lost runs multiple times because creeps simply glitched over cliffs. Rogue-lite: Most of the upgrades are trivial. I HATE the “get more currency” upgrade. But even simple “3% attack speed” upgrades are, in my opinion, just a waste of time. Overall, the upgrade system is too slow. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
Loving this game so far. Downloaded the demo and decided within 5 minutes I was going to be purchasing the game. Such an interesting mashup of Tower Defence and Roguelike where each run feels different but you still get that classic tower defence vibe from the 2010's era which I love. Lots of customisation you can start the run with and research to make yourself stronger every time. Only downside to mention is the use of AI as stated in the games description - would be nice if the developer took the time to replace the AI assets with artist created ones. Great game, looking forward to playing more.
The pefect blend of tower defense and roguelike.
