A gritty and apocalyptic feel without lots of weird science or magic. Weak story line and the mechanics could improve, but I really enjoy the atmosphere and game play.

I've finally started to dig through the CRPG section of my backlog and ATOM is really one I had my eye on. I didn't read too much about the game so I really had a rough start and almost dropped the game until I reset my stats and fixed things. Overall I had a pretty great time but there were definitely sections I was wondering around for a while before I was able to progress the story. There were actually a fair amount of things I needed to look up online that I would've probably missed out otherwise. I haven't played too many CRPG's but I really did enjoy this one and plan to play the sequel sometime this year. Goes for sale pretty cheap so wait for that. Cheers! 100 Backlog Games of 2025: 33/100
CRPG games likes these are pure garbage and extremely unrealistic. No i shouldn't be losing a gun fight against a midget with no hands just because he landed a headshot with his toes my kevlar armor should tank the ♥♥♥♥ out of it, whoever thinks that games like these are "fun" are obviously trying to be different because they know dam well they are just the weird kid in the back of the class thats dreams about making their own version of columbine.

Отличная рпг игра для прохождения
Васянство. Васянство никогда не меняется.
Мне очень хотелось любить эту игру, но, увы у неё слишком много отталкивающих аспектов. Я не успел наиграть в нее достаточно времени, но геймплей и история уже начали показывать свои неприглядные стороны. Будучи человеком, ктороый старается прозодить все игры до конца, я долго и безуспешно пытался заставить себя к ней вернуться, но в конце концов сдался, и вот почему Однообразная боевка, скучные квесты (по крайней мере в начале), Васянство в каждом углу, странный баланс, такой себе саунд-дизайн с отсутствием хоть сколько-то запоминающейся музыки и почти полное отсутствие оригинальных идей (что в целом не минус, но уж точно не добавляет очков и так средненькой игре) и в итоге мы получаем Фоллаут 2, но хуже и в советских декорациях. Подойдет либо прям любителям жанра, либо тем, кто очень любит советскую эстетику, и я не отношусь ни к тем, ни к другим, но эта игра точно найдет своего покупателя.
