I like this one. I am grinding away and leveling up quite happily. If it could have any items that missing from your inventory for crafting recipes, maybe show them but greyed out, that would be nice. Otherwise 5 outta 5!

It's a very rough-around-the-edges first try but, is made with such palpable care and passion for the CRPG genre. Taking their Stalker DNA and classic Fallout elements making what is, for me, a modern classic.
Challenging game, but fun to play.

Don't usually leave reviews but i really liked this game so figured i would. Beginning took some time for me to get into after multiple try's. FIrst play through i did a unarmed/melee strength build and loved every moment of it. Heavy cross bow carried the build though lol. Excited to replay and use guns feels like it gives me something to look forward to after only using the cross bow. Highly recommend this game, make the journey yours and explore everything.
If you wanted something reminiscent of Fallout 2 based in the countryside of a post-apocalyptic USSR with a bit of stilted English and the essence of slav jank then this is it. Good story, lots of side quests, and several optional areas to explore. The overworld movement speed until you get a car and the amount of back-and-forth running for certain quests are the biggest detractors from this game. Combat is simple and runs off a similar system to the Fallout system. Movement only costs 1 AP per tile, so it's fairly lenient. It's worth $15; definitely worth whatever it discounts to on a sale.
