I should've refunded this game when I had the chance back on launch.

unplayable, sadly you have to mod it to make it playable.
Since this game is no longer being supported by the devs, people might ignore it, but the modding community and public-modded servers are alive and well and are very fun!
This game is the definition of a "re-skin". All of the core mechanics, down to the enemies are literally direct code from Ark Survival. For example, the chicken in Atlas is a dodo from Ark. The shark in Atlas is the megalodon from Ark. Literally. They used the same exact animations, scale, everything. The only difference is they gave them a new mesh, added a few different details, gave them some new sound files. Oh, and did I mention that they abandoned it? Well, they did. AND I CANNOT STRESS HOW MUCH IT PISSES ME OFF. This was actually an unbelievably promising game. It genuinely could have been THE age of sail naval game if it just had less ♥♥♥♥♥♥ teams behind it. Talking about you Grapeshot and Snail Games.
right now yall need devs who can get teh framework stable i would love to take a crack at it and as long as you have a refrence bro i would hook this game right up. even playing alone right now is unstable. half the time you freeze on load or you get in and have issue just playing. almost like best option to play is on a dedicated server that you can modify. i just feel the game could be so much better with stability, i love what yall created and so does alot of my friends but the crashing guys lets get on this. ill help bring the game back just get it to where i can log in and fricken play
