Astray

This was recommended to me but I didn't have especially high hopes. But I really enjoyed this game. It really reminded me of an Amnesia game with fewer bugs. There are notes throughout the game to tell the story of what's going on. The puzzle solutions aren't obscure but there isn't too much hand holding either. It's a pretty short game but I would recommend giving it a try, especially if you like the Amnesia series.

Definitely deserves the mixed reviews it has, but I had fun for about 2 of the 3.5 hours I spent on this one. Worth it when on sale.

I've had this in my library, and apologetically forgot about it for the longest time. That being said, finally got around to playing it, and it's a pleasantly fun little game. Very Lovecraftian in many ways, which I always appreciate. Sure, it has a few rough edges, but definitely enjoyable. The monster sequences were a bit cookie-cutter after a bit, but not terrible. Nevertheless it was fun, and worth the asking price, in my opinion.
