Das Spiel ist sehr unkomplex. Kämpfe zu simple gehalten. Nur leichte Angriffe, draufspringen und schwere Angriffe. Gegner hängen ständig an irgendwelchen kanten fest. Die Römer haben gefühlt drei Sätze die sie Ständig wiederholen. Jede Mechanik wurde schon in einem anderen Spiel besser umgesetzt. "Rätsel" in Anführungszeichen sind nicht Fordernd und nehmen dann doch aber Unnötig zeit in Anspruch. Die Spielwelt ist nicht wirklich groß, doch trotz der wenigen Spielstunden zieht sich das Spielgefühl. Die Welt ist schließlich nicht sehr abwechslungsreich: Die Einzelnen Level haben wenig Eigencharakter. Ältere Spiele von Asterix haben da mit einfacheren Mitteln mehr geleistet.

Mir fällt leider mehr Negativ wie Positiv auf. Ein Asterix und Obelix Spiel ohne Zaubertrank ist wie ein Spiegelei ohne Ei. Das ist kein Witz… der Zaubertrank wird völlig ignoriert. Auch der Soundtrack hat deutlich Luft nach oben. Absolut austauschbar und langweilig. Was mir auch extrem negativ aufgefallen ist…. Es braucht dringend einen Sound beim Springen. Das Spiel fühl sich im Allgemeinen so stumm an. Ach es hätte so schön sein können. Die Animationen sind wirklich schön und das Römer verprügeln macht auch einigermaßen Spaß, wenn deren langweilige sich ständig wiederholenden Äußerungen nicht wären. Auch fehlt ein Upgrade System, Kombos… ach es fehlt einfach an allem. Schade.

As an Asterix game it's a disappointment in comparison to not only the best XXL games but also to the new XXL games. Its combat is laughable, you have exactly 2 attacks, even Slap-Them-All was better in this regard and that's saying a lot. Its story is barebones at best. As a platformer it's ok, I'd call it mid but it has its moments. No idea why it's unverified on steamdeck, it runs well. I can recommend this game to the most die hard Asterix fans and even then only at steep discount.
Buen y divertido juego de plataformas. Funciona perfecto con el mando de la PS5. Con el de la Switch, me dio problemas.
Sympathique jeu avec un peu de l'humour habituel de la bande dessinée. Contrairement à ce qui est annoncé, le jeu tourne bien sûr Steam deck. J'ai fini le jeu en 7 heure environ sans aucun souci de compatibilité
