Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

If you don't want to buy the game watch kingkong. Monkey killing white people for a white chick.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Same day: best PL #13, worst JP #90 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I must commend Ubisoft on their unparalleled dedication to stealth mechanics in Assassin's Creed Shadows. The game is so deeply hidden in the shadows that it refuses to load altogether, leaving me staring at an infinite loading screen until the end of time. Naoe and Yasuke are completely unplayable, which I suppose is the ultimate form of assassination, killing the game before it even starts. I have begged Ubisoft's support team for a fix, but they simply copy-paste the same useless troubleshooting templates. I have verified files, cleared caches, and tried every dark magic trick on the internet, but the game is effectively a premium-priced brick.
dont get this, shiii ahhh
I really wanted to like this game, but I just couldn't. I first bought this game in March last year, hated it, and refunded it. I then bought it again and sunk 44 hours into it before deciding that the game was not worth my time. The combat and stealth are fantastic, but they're wasted in a game with a boring world. Yasuke and Naoe are okay, I guess. I'm not someone who was complaining about the historical inaccuracy, because I didn't care, I just unfortunately wasn't interested in either character. I was intrigued by the game because Ubisoft were finally taking us to Japan for an Assassin's Creed game, but the amount of main missions, side missions, missions from random guys with carts on the side of a road... THERE WERE TOO MANY! I want to clarify by saying that I'm a fan of the non-rpg games way more than the rpg ones, but fell in love with Odyssey. THAT game was a good game. This game was a huge letdown for me, which is a shame as I was really looking forward to it. Hopefully Hexe is better
Why was there black samurai in 16th century Japan?
9 Hours in and I like the story, but the gameplay just feels samey. You know. I have never complained about Ubisoft open worlds design and I guess I'll start now. They are masters at creating beautiful maps for you to explore. But man do their games feel empty as of late. Odyssey was a hack and slash, but was far from an Assassins creed game in gameplay. It was fast and fluid with a lively world, but just felt too big for some reason. Valhalla was lively and long. If it wasn't an Assassins Creed game, I would be fine with it. But Valhalla is. Now this game. This game suffers from a world where its beautiful, but it looks repetative. It just feels like everything looks the same. The world doesn't feel alive and people just wander the streets to wander. The hills and mountains that I climb don't have amazing views but a constant fog that looks terrible across the land. Older Assassins Creed games made the worlds feel full and lively through markets with people having conversations and small events happening. And they were interesting, while Ubisoft's recent games, feel just the same and empty. Go here, clear a base out, collect the loot and upgrade your kit, just like every other game. The characters aren't interesting and the voice acting is laughably bad. This is far fetched from the Sony's version of this game, Ghost of Tsushima. In that game, the characters and story was so cool, the land scape was beautiful and I just wanted to see more. It was diverse and cinematic in all of its aspects. Shadows just isn't. It starts out great, then grinds to a halt with progression that just takes forever to do. It feels like a chore to run around the map as it all looks the same. Where as Ghost, the world just popped with color, design, diversity, and beautiful lighting. As for the story. I like the premise. The age of Oda Nobunaka was an interesting one in Japan 1500s. But the execution is just uninteresting. The base building mechanic for this game doesn't make sense as it did in Valhalla. In Valhalla, I was excited to build a new feature for my home as it felt like I was expanding my grasp onto the land. For Shadows, what is the purpose of building a new hideout other than to gain new scouts for a revenge story that doesn't feel tied to the Creed. It just doesn't feel like Assassins Creed. It's just a revenge story and not a great one. Assassin's Creed 2 had a revenge story, but it lead Ezio into learning what the Creed stands for. Not revenge, but to prevent the corruption of power and control over people. I just reached level 10, killed the one ear demon, and already I don't want to pick this game back up. It's just Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Origins, Valhalla, and Mirage but in Japan. Give me back running around big cities looking for my targets. Give me back the smooth parkour system of Unity. Give me the love and detail of Assassins Creed that was in the past. Not these small ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blink and you'll miss it towns. That being said, I don't recommend this game. Maybe one day I'll slog through it. But not today.
ive played a good 20hrs thru the ubisoft launcher ive come to the conclusion after playing AC4 Resynced that this game sucks
