Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This entry is an interesting one because at first it feels like a slight iteration compared to the significant jump between AC1 and AC2. But Brotherhood definitely improved on its core foundations and even tries to experiment with new concepts for the series. For improvements, the huge scale of Rome was definitely a technical achievement considering the release date; now you get to traverse one large seamless map instead of loading between smaller maps. It's also a visual step up from the previous game with better textures and lighting. The story is good, as it continues to build on Ezio's story and has a much better antagonist. You also start building the assassins guild by recruiting units to utilize as help or send off on missions. This part is really cool as it starts making you feel the scale of how the assassins are growing. The combat at it's core is mostly the same but there are some new mechanics. This game introduces chain kills, which allows you to link finishers to instantly kill other enemies. This means you can wipe out a group very quickly instead of dueling each of them one by one. There's also a new crossbow weapon that is essentially the quiet version of the hidden gun, making it very powerful. The assassins you recruit can also be called as reinforcements or even a powerful 1-hit KO group attack. These new changes are welcome but could definitely use some refining and balancing so as not to make things too easy. For the missions, this game introduces synchronization rate which is just extra challenges to achieve during missions. The implementation isn't perfect as there are some that are just tedious and too artificial in difficulty. It also makes me feel a bit mixed because you go from having a lot of freedom to approach a mission to having restrictions hanging in front of you. The saving grace is that it's optional and in the end I think it's a good thing overall as the game doesn't have a difficulty setting, so this allows for players to take on harder goals if they want. The things they experimented with have flaws but I appreciate the attempt to mix things up and it makes me excited to see how it potentially evolves in later games. Overall, Brotherhood is a great entry in the franchise.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Pretty much an improvement to the second in almost every way. The story is still a little lacking in this entry. It's attempt to show an arrogant Ezio works, but only for the very beginning of the game where I then think Ezio completes much of that growth too early on to remain interesting. The Claudia subplot was handled pretty poorly as well, and I'm not a fan of the suspected traitor plot line which has an underwhelming twist. The side content is a big improvement, with the Cristina missions being a standout for sure. As far as the Ezio trilogy villains go, Cesare is less complex than Ahmet but is way more memorable. The Borgia are way better in this game than the targets in 2, even if they remain pretty simple cartoon villains (though in real life the Borgia were pretty much psychos, so...) Mechanically, I think the parkour is an improvement upon the second even though there is little change to be had, and Rome is very well suited to parkour. I'm not sure if I prefer it to the variety AC2 had, but I don't like it less either. I don't really prefer the combat to AC1, but my god is it so much better than 2. It's a little mindless but I'd gladly indulge in that power fantasy (even If I don't find it super befitting) over whatever the hell AC2 was thinking. The stealth is WONDERFUL. The missions are well designed, and even though they still have some of that railroading from 2, I think it's just as good, possibly better than the first game. The crossbow is admittedly overpowered though and quickly replaces any real utility the throwing knives had, relegating them to combat usage. The stealth isn't difficult but it's fun.
Masterpiece
I have no problems for the game, the game is very fun. However, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft ♥♥♥♥ laucher "requries" you to sign in everytime. At first it worked and I had no problem with it. But now, whenever I try to sign in when opening the game it says: "a ubisoft service is currently unavailable try again later." I've tried everything. I went every post and used AI even tried lauching the game offline and yet I still need to sign in. Don't bother getting this game on pc or even supporting this greedy ♥♥♥♥ company. (UPDATE: I fixed this issue by getting my account compromised then resetting my password. Make sure the password meets the ciriteria but make sure to add this symbol * at the end of your password. If you don't do this then ubisoft will say the password is invailid. Now when I tried lauching this game and entered my new password. It worked and allowed me to play again. This was a soloution I found on a reddit post about the resetting password being invailid so i give credits for that.) Ubisoft is is still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for needing all of this in the first place.
Controller support is broken on Linux. Tried the fixes listed on ProtonDB, and they do not work. Kind of a shame, I was looking forward to playing this one again.
