Hands down the best Assassin's Creed game.
TL;DR: With a little bit of research and tweaking, the game can be made to run properly and can be highly enjoyed. It's an Assassin's Creed game that is still fun to play, not just for nostalgia's sake. 1. Yes, you need to lock the game to 60 FPS, otherwise it goes crazy. If you've only played 3 games in your life, this software issue might be annoying. The game was designed to run at 60 FPS. 2. You can find the solution to all the problems you are experiencing on Reddit within 10 minutes. The game can be finished from start to finish on both Windows 11 and Linux without any crashes, stutters, lag, or game-breaking glitches. Since it has been 15 years since its release, it's not that surprising that it's not playable straight out of the box. 3. It takes 10 seconds to enter the account password the game asks from you; I'm sure writing that review you're whining in took longer than 10 seconds. 4. "The game doesn't open without internet!". You could have found out that the game doesn't open without internet by doing some research before buying it. If you're used to throwing dozens of dollars at every product in front of you without doing any research, you're going to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over a lot more in life. It's also worth mentioning that in 2026, the percentage of people playing games without an internet connection is astronomically low.

"Nothing is true, everything is permitted." AC Brotherhood spans a very brief period in Ezio's life following the story of AC2. It is a short and crisp one, in a detailed (not graphically in 2026 of course) city of Rome. Parkours and movements are similar to the previous title as well, if not better. I would recommend to play this game if you want to see how Ezio became a master assassin and continued his journey after defeating the pope with his fists!
