Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

When Ubisoft say they've 'remastered' the game, what they actually mean is they've brought back all the bugs and jank that was in the original game, while adding a horde of brand new game-breaking bugs! As for graphics, literally the only thing they "remastered" was the lighting, which arguably looks worse than the original in a lot of places. The model and texture details are actually worse in this game than the 2012 original, I kid you not. And of course, they didn't forget to double the price tag! How nice of them to do that!! There are some slight improvements to controls and UI, but not enough to stop Connor from regularly jumping off and on random things for no reason, jump in the complete opposite direction of where you're aiming, perch on the tiniest pebbles when all you want to do is run on flat ground, etc. etc. Basically standard Assassin's Creed jank. As far as the gameplay itself, it's mostly just the same as it was back in 2012, for better and for worse. Don't bother trying to get full-sync on all missions, as just like in 2012, the full-sync objectives are ridiculous, tedious, clearly not playtested very much (if at all), and make absolutely no sense to the story. In some cases, they made the crazy full-sync objectives even harder, seemingly by accident. Best example I can give is sequence 8 mission 3: you have to kill 2 random guards while chasing down
Hickey
and preventing him from killing
Washington's
bodyguards, who are basically right in front of him, all while you have nothing but your axe. Whereas this was just super hard (and absurd considering the story) in the original game, it's now almost literally impossible in this "remaster" for some reason. Look up comparisons if you want to see what I mean. Seeing as Ubisoft has now made this version of the game the only version available for purchase, I can only recommend this game if A. you *really* liked AC3 despite its jank, AND B. you can get it on a deep sale. In any other case, steer well clear. And if you do go into this game, be aware that some of the bugs Ubisoft ""remastered"" are genuinely game-breaking and will require you to restart a checkpoint, or even an entire mission, when they occur. They are shockingly common for a ""remaster"". inb4 Ubisoft does the exact same thing with this upcoming AC4 ""remaster""

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.14/day in the week to Aug 11 → 8.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ACIII is great. This is an ugly remaster and an incredibly buggy experience, even years after release.
Leider KEINE Kaufempfehlung.
This review is not about the main game Assassin's creeed 3 Remastered, but about its sub game Assassin's creed 3 Liberation HD Remastered. Once starting the 8th sequence in New York, the game constantly crashes and makes the save file unable to be played for the other actions of the game due to an auto-save happening directly when the sequence starts. I have tried disabling the overlay, disabling cpu 0, running it with administrator permission, disabling full screen complexity, reducing everything graphic to very low. I was doing a playthrough of the games in order, avoiding the mobiles ports, and this is what makes me unable to even start the venerated black flag! This issue that has percisted and caused me to write a review this extensive. In summary, main game is fine, the dlc's are riddled with bugs and some of them won't let you complete them.
ACIII: Definitely the worst AC game upto this point, the setting is just bland. Except for the prologue as Haytham, the story is terrible. Connor is my least favorite protagonist of the entire AC franchise, what a wet rag... (I haven't played Shadows yet). The combat system is one of the worst in the series, going for the you-might-get-countered feature, where you don't know if your counter or defense breaker is going to get countered by the enemy, is such a retarded decision. A bunch of times you get the requirement to finish combat without taking damage... nuf said. ACIII ToKW: Horrendous DLC. The map is packed with enemies, to the point that it's no longer fun and actually almost unbearable. The animal skills are honestly a good idea but the implementation was terrible. Instead of selecting a skill with the arrow buttons on controller and then hitting Y to activate it, why oh why can't we just hit the arrow key to activate it??? That way you can combine animal powers easily without the clunky swapping of skills. The setting was nice, I liked the huge pyramid at the end... spoilers... but that wasn't enough for me to like this DLC. AC L for Liberation: Terrible game, feels like they made it and didn't play it to see if it worked at all. This was insanely woke at the time, black female protagonist freeing slaves, though it didn't bother me like woke games of today do. At the time I didn't think it couldn't get any more woke. Boy was I wrong. Aveline is actually quite enjoyable, I don't mind her, I'd take her over any of the "inclusive" protagonists we got in the 2020s... ♥♥♥♥ this game really.

Have an enjoyable time!

Have an enjoyable time!

Have an enjoyable time!
